Official LeBron X Thread Vol. 3

I'M JUST SAYING WE ALL KNOW THE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM AND IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PROGRAMS, RAFFLES, CAMPING, AND EMPLOYEES AT ALL.
He has a point even though we all feel a certain way about raffles, bots etc.  Simple economics...stop buying Nike products boycott them, until people stop treating the sneakers like they were that last piece of crack rock on the floor, (guilty of it myself), nothing will change.  Evilside messing things up or not, nothing is going to change.  Nike Badger don't give a s***!

Interesting to see that we now have concrete evidence that Nike DC is corrupt. Wondering if Nike will do anything now at that store (most likely nothing)

Eh, not MVP talk, but did anyone catch the restock of the Mints on End last night? I'm getting my order shipped out today, but what are my chances that these are just returned pairs? Cause there was a number of sizes up.

I think why everyone is on his sack is because this will force Nike to do something. If you see a computer pick up 10/15 or whatever the number was-- after a full day of waiting by your phone, checking your tweets, all that crap-- how many people are gonna continue to do that? This isn't like missing out on a release. This is not even bothering with it. The MVP pack is different because it is worth $3k or whatever-- but how many shoes each year can fetch that? 1? or 2?

Am I going to wake up at 7 am to try for Jordans? not against computers. Am I going to wait for a Tweet? Not when the odds are THAT STACKED. it was ridiculous that he showed what he did.

This bot guy could also screw up the resale market hard. I'm not on his nuts, just Nike should be paying a chunk of that Lebron money to prevent it. If the bot guy has strong enough convictions (Anonymous) he could change the sneaker industry. No joke.

I think people are on his nuts hard because most people with bots are trying to profit. Maybe he'll profit but it won't be conventionally. Most likely he'll be arrested.

This. Raffles will still be corrupt by dudes bringing their whole family tree to get tickets and by crooked employees and inside jobs. Just produce more of the shoe. Is it that hard. Everyone wins. Hell a shoe to celebrate Lebron winning his second ring should not be 'ULTRA-LIMITED'. It should be available for any Lebron fan to own and enjoy.
Reason NIKE/JB can't do this is their business model for profit will not survive if they make enough shoes to go around every release, and the limited ones keep the hype alive.  Just think if you could walk into any major shoe chain store any day of the week and pick up the shoe that just dropped (like the ealry 90s I bought some bugs 8s for 79.99 on clearance).  It would be a good thing at first for die hard collectors but eventually there would be no urgency to buy which in turn would bankrupt nike as shoe chain stores would stop buying so much wholesale as there would be no urgency to sell.

Then you would look at life different, maybe spend that money on something else because you know next week when the shipment comes in they will get your size in again.  No resellers, no RSVP services, no BOTS just plenty of shoes EVERY release every month. The result:

Every thread in every forum would be boring  "Yo D, you get them new J's (or Lebrons) that dropped Yesterday?" Response "well the wifey wanted new curtains, i'll just pick them up when they restock next month."

No raffle stories, not bot stories, no stockroom pics, no stories of employee and manager corruption no grey market discussion, no rsvp stories....no ebay auction discussion or craiglist discussion no stories of not copping or striking out.... nothing but just pure sneaker talk (reminds me of in niketalk 2001).   If you look their model it is simple..... make a ton of shoes make some limited others not but NEVER make enough to meet the demand....FEEDing into the human desire that can never be satisfied always wanting more.

In the end this decision would kill the secondary market, the ebay market, the craigslist market for shoes because everyone would get their pairs the first time and Nike would eventually have to go back to this way of doing things or give up all their market share.

So which would You rather have???

Like what employees selling the shoes on ebay and kissing their retail sneaker career at nike & hoh good bye.

I dont understand what's the story on the bots

Yea employees are trying to flip packs early out back door, nothing new really. Almost all of these in store raffles are rigged.

As for the bot, a member on here found a way to mess with RSVP services by getting a bunch packs at Lennox and a few other spots using his own bot I believe. He's got a lot of resellers mad right now
