I had a pair in '01 and foolishly beat them into the ground. I'd love another pair to rock.

To me, one of the best c/w's of the 11 mids.

I can't believe that this shoe has not been retroed yet.

Should of came out last year, before the B/Reds.

Then we hoped that THIS year would be the year, and sadly its not.

Is 2014 too farfetched for a retro release?

As stated by many before me this shoe is just beautiful...Had the 01 pair and beat them into the ground. Im older and wiser now and just want my 2 pair. But i can def see myself exiting stage left as soon as I can get some fresh pairs of columbias

This is the only colorway of the XI left that matters. The Brand made the holidays about original XI colorways for the last few years and then stops before executing the trend ....time and time again they seem to intentionally stop short in giving the consumer what they want. Is there another brand or product that can do this time and time again and still be successful?

to me , the OG columbias are the most beautiful sneaker ever . i even like the slight yellowing you see on the patent leather and lace holes

THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THIS IS PROBABLY THE LEAST LIKED COLORWAY OF THE 11'S SO BY DELAYING IT'S RELEASE THEY ARE GROWING THE LORE OF THIS COLORWAY SO THAT WHEN THEY ARE FINALLY RELEASED, THIS COLORWAY WILL BE AN INSTANT GRAIL.

My JB source has told me a few times that the Columbias will not come out in the winter time at all...... He said that the big people higher up dont think an all white shoe will be appreciate for the Holidays.... (whatever that means)

As most of us like to forget, JB is still a clothing label. Colors and materials are released based on season. An all white shoe is definitely appropriate for the spring/summer seasons.

All white after Labor day, and before Memorial day is a major No No in the fashion world.  With JB and Nike raising their prices, perhaps the fashionista's at Beaverton are starting to view themselves as a luxury athletic brand.

Never understood the love behind these. I know I'm in the minority but these things just don't do it for me. I love every other XI CW, but these all white Tic-Tac looking things do nothing for me. I'm sorry guys. Just my two cents.

Love this shoe- I can honestly hear JB thinkin that they can continue to pass (and build hype) on releasing these because of the Silver anniversaries from a few years back. I got those too but that being said, I've always wanted a DS pair of these to rock
