Nike Air Pegasus ALL NEW MODELS 30, 31, 32 and up

Any idea how much further you run doing it this way?

I use the app to track my distance. When I get the 1 mile cue, I'd transition to the next lane. Each mile is at a different location when I run this way.

I wanna guess each lane is about 7-10m apart depending on the track, so I think you'd be running an extra 250m-300m per lane for each lap alone. Lane 8 is about 450-455m instead of 400, so 450m x 4 is about 1800m, which is a standard lane-1 mile run + half a lap.

I like to do intervals, because I like to give myself that challenge of the work on speed. I actually started to focus on breathing techniques for those runs, because it helps enforce the breathing technique for when you're running outside. For me, every 1-2 step is an inhale and the 3rd step is the quick exhale, and so on. Yep, running can get pretty detailed, haha.

When I did intervals with NRC (Black level), I had to put on the brakes frequently, so I didn't overtake the pacer. For me, doing my continuous runs made intervals very easy for me. Or maybe I was in the wrong pace group...

Distance, for sure, helps you prepare for speed, actually. Prepping for speed over distance just helps people get comfortable enough by pushing it so they can run their preferred mileage amount better with endurance and increase the speed slowly... well, at least for me. anyone can correct me though.

If you're doing a little over 7 minutes per mile with 6-8 mile averages, imagine your 3-4 mile runs. It'll be such a piece of cake that you can push it to 7 or less for sure. So intervals are so short that when the Pacers shout out those dedicated "10K / 5K / MILE / BEST" paces, they go well faster than the designated time. You could've gone up to volt, really.

For those wondering, NRC bands you up with pace bands to run with specific Pacers that can help lead the pace for your group. Black pace pushes all 7-minute-a-mile runners to go between 6-6:30 for a dedicated mile on the track. illustrayt illustrayt , if you did Volt, they would've had you guys average somewhere between 5:05 - 5:45/mile, and that could've been ideal for you if the workouts were 200s/400s.

I'm personally a green pace for long distance [9-945 minutes/mile for 6+ miles] since I wanna take my time with long distances. Other than that, blue for short distances [8:15-8:30 minutes/mile for 3-4 miles], and purple or black on the track if I'm doing 200s/300s/400s, and 800s if I'm up for it. Otherwise, I'll just play it wisely and do those speed sessions with 800s at blue pace.

I had the opportunity to check out the Structure 20 and it was definitely way different than the previous couple versions. Fans of Brooks or NB would enjoy it, I feel. I'm doing a full review on my site, but don't want to self-promote on the forum.

Ran in my new peg 33s today. I love them. So responsive. Ran a PB 5km in them. Hope they start to show up at the outlets so I can stick up on them

Yea, the Peg 33s are easily my favorite current shoe to run in. I love the lil bounce in the forefoot

Co-sign! I wasn't a fan of running in 33s' predecessors with Zoom only in the heels. The forefoot Zoom in the 33s makes a HUGE difference to me! I'm looking to grab at least one more cw in the 33s. I'm thinking the White/Blue/Lime cw...

I'm glad I was able to get the ULTDs for only $52 with taxes at my NCS. :smokin

On a sidenote, last year, I was mostly running in Lunarlon, as I was all about weight and softness then. This year, I've jumped to the Zoom side of things, and I've been preferring it over Lunar now. I'd much rather have responsiveness (and SPEED ) these days...

I love how these 33s perform and look so much that I'm seriously considering purchasing another pair to stock... :smh:

Why not? I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find them on deep discount soon enough.

Have you tried the Vomero 11 or the Odyssey 1/2? Both also has forfoot and heel zoom.

Still curious when the Zoom collections going to get the flyknit treatment?

SRs review of the Peg33: https://www.solereview.com/nike-air-zoom-pegasus-33-review/

link wouldn't hurt so we can check it out, don't think there's a rule against putting it on your sig too if you simply want to share

Here ya go!

Thanks, always good to see new reviews/reviewers out there.

A constructive criticism though, if you don't mind especially if you plan to do it more often and to grow. Be a bit more detailed, you don't need to be SoleReview detailed but you could go deeper into some of your statements. You concluded that it was clunky but never really explained why, you mentioned the shoe was more rigid because of the outsole but it wasn't really clear what that meant.

Also, I'd do some proofreading or get an editor to read through it because there are some grammar problems with the whole review.

I am not being an a*hole so take no offense but your review definitely needs plenty of work. SoleReview is a pretty good place to start and pick up some good format and writing without the need to rip them off. Good luck though and keep at it!

Funny how solereview says the forefoot is stiffer than before
In comparison, the Pegasus 33’s forefoot midsole foam stack is thinner, and there’s a Zoom bag inside. And unlike the rearfoot, the forefoot has full outsole coverage. So the front is firmer than the rear, and more so than the Pegasus 31 or 32. While the Zoom bag has its benefits, it makes the forefoot stiffer than before.
I like my 32's but hoped the 33's would be softer in the forefoot now that they have zoom but thats not the case :smh:
