Nike's Improved RSVP process Vol. Death to bots

WTF is a Bot? Why is this even necessary to buy shoes? Then again I buy what I like and not what Nike, JB or any shoe company shoves down my throat.... Glad I didnt have to go through this when I was into this stuff.....

Basically people were entering their twitter handles and passwords into a computer program that "automatically" RSVP'd them for the shoes the same second Nike Tweeted out the info.

RSVP only matters in big cities. The rest of the country still uses bots for 8AM TLO, etc.

That's great. RSVP don't really do anything for me since they never do it for GS sizes, but I hope they fix the TLO on NDC, because that whole having the page not load properly to shake off the bots is not cool. I really want those Easter KD's on Friday lol.

I'm sure that'll be next.

Probably harder to fix though.

This will really put an end to the bots?

Niketown Georgetown is pretty grimy with releases here

I just got into the bots things and was planning on using them

Oh well lol

Nike Georgetown isn't grimy IMO. Got 2 pairs of bred 11s, DB 9s, and thunder 4s pretty easily. Missed the royal 1s unfortunately.

YES, they are. The sad thing is that I thought they were the answer to waiting in line at PG Plaza, but given my luck with GTown RSVP, it seems better taking my chances at PG.

I can't stand PG

I will never go there for a release

I have come to the conclusion that I'm better off paying $20 over retail off resellers than waiting and camping on twitter for a shoe then driving out to Nike town

Ain't nobody bout to sell them for only $20 over retail b

If it's fair I don't really mind

I just feel like it's always going to be rigged

I've sold a few pairs for only $20 over retail just to help get my gas money and stuff back.

I usually sell when I'm unsatisfied w/ my purchase and want to help someone out w/ a price that is decent not to make any gains.

I ain't ever had the problem. Shoe sells for 180. That's 200 after tax. I give 220 for the shoe. If you paying more for a general release you lazy and bad at bargaining

i went like 0-5 doing the rsvp solo, with bots i have gone 3 for 3...i hope the person that runs the bot that i use figures this out.

Or hopefully this new rsvp system evens the playing field.
