 If you have 10% African blood then you are 10% black. I'm not subscribing to the one drop rule or anything like that. A person can be more than one race. What i am saying is a person like Ninjahood clearly has African ancestry. To say he isn't black at all is a bit ridiculous. He could be a mix of other races. That's fine. To say he isn't black at all is plain wrong.

South Africa is as sub-saharan as you can get. I feel like Africa as a whole gets painted with waaay to broad of a brush. All to often it seems as if Africa is viewed as a huge country with some elephants, lions, and a whole lotta black people. The laziest term that the government has ever come up with is African-American. What about Kenyan-Americans, Nigerian-Americans. I guess slave trades messed that up. I work for the government, so I see these ridiculous labels for people all the time.

They are BLACK + whatever else they are mixed with. Many African Americans have European blood, maybe you should start calling them mixed instead of black.

many non latino Americans are just as mixed. and Americans in general are ignorant on race, Latino Americans included.

There are plenty of black people in Latin America. And there are black Dominicans and black Puerto Ricans. Some of which that consider themselves black and some that don't for various reasons.

NT understand that:
-it is not desirable to be black for a lot of people
-American labels don't always fly outside of America
-if a person doesn't want to be called black then they don't want to be called black. Let them call themselves whatever they want.

The same ppl getting on ninjahood are probably some of the same that wouldn't talk to a dark skinned female or want a female that doesn't have natural hair, etc but are quick to point out what someone else's flaws are as far as race.

Not taking sides here -a whole lot of people that are racially black disassociate themselves with being black.
 
the African diaspora is very real. Why ppl choose to ignore this is crazy to me.
