HANNIBAL NBC | S3, Ep13 "The Wrath of the Lamb" 8/29/15 10/9c

Bravo with this ep.

That S2 finale really ****** up the other characters lives  Even Alana is talking so cynical and jaded. Almost thought she was crippled.

As mentioned once again the writing is top notch, especially the dialogue.

I really enjoyed Dr. Fredrick going to everybody trying to entice them to track down Hannibal to seek some revenge. Props to Raul Esparaza, always knew he was a better actor than his role on SVU shows.

So if it's not Pitt who is playing Mason Verger now? :nerd: So messed up that the "Yellow King" is his at home aid. No surprise he takes the idea of killing and eating Hannibal so passively.

Hannibal really poking a sleeping bear sending that condolences note to Jack. I get he wants to be around just about everybody by luring them to him so he can finally finish them but he's asking for the whopping we see in the preview for next week's ep.

I started watching this show during season 1 and totally forgot about it

Thx to this thread I'm almost caught up..ep 10 of season 2 now..

Def a dope show..I liked both the silence of the lambs and red dragon a lot (what the show is based on)

The show reminds me of dexter and criminal minds.. a lot of similarities..a little more like dexter tho

very good acting..def never any cheesy parts

Wasn't surprised to see michael pitt isn't on the show anymore. Read that he declined to return but the guy is a weirdo and people are probably happy he's not on set anymore.

Don't like alana because she didn't believe Will. Was hoping she'd be confined to that wheelchair but looks like she got lucky. Pushed out of a window and she only has a limp after recovering.

I didn't even remember dude got shot in the face last season. Nasty to see him and pig guy's injuries.

There's been a lot of reports that he's beyond difficult to work with.

Shame as he's a pretty decent actor.

Yeah, I didn't remember that either... or did that happen in S2?  Who shot him?

The facial-reconstruction...

It'll be interesting to see how the show changes if Amazon or Netflix (if they can) picks them up.  I'm sure it'll still have Fuller's style, but he won't have the limitations of network-TV.

I looked it up just now. lecter somehow implanted a false memory in Miriam Lass' head so when she heard his voice during his interrogation it triggered something. She was outside the room with Jack and grabbed his gun.

Oh that's right... now I remember.

So the show has a new "face" for Mason Verger now that he has his new "face" on the show. :rolleyes

Maybe network TV prevents it, but I thought Verger's face should've been more horrifying to look at.

Kinda sad no one came to Bella's (Mrs. Crawford) funeral. :\

I thought the "chop" of the show change this episode from previous ones & I saw they changed directors.

Vincenzo Natali directed the first 3 & Marc Jobst directed last Thursday's. First guy did much better.

Chilton is a real snake in the grass... I hope he meets his maker soon.

I thought they were showing Jack when Bella's service was over so other people might've been there earlier. Or maybe Jack didn't want anyone there.

It was most likely after the service. It wasn't like she as a hated person or something. Blew my mind when I found out they are married in real life.

That preview for the next episode looks great. I wonder if Jack and him get into a real physical fight or it all takes place in someone's mind. Looking like when Morpheus fought agent smith.

I don't know if it was described more gruesomely in the book but Verger's face on the show is pretty much exactly like it is in the Hannibal movie where Gary Oldman plays Verger (I think that was Red Dragon? or maybe it was the movie titled Hannibal).

I almost thought that but then I said maybe the funeral was already done. It'd explain why Jack didn't see the note from Hannibal earlier cuz he was most likely taking condolences and well wishes from ppl there.

The Verger in the NBC show looked like a Mike Meyers Cat In The Hat or Jim Carey Grinch throw away character.

Gary Oldman's Verger in Hannibal (with Julianne Moore) looked more gruesome & menacing.

If you think they look exact, then ok. :smokin

No I think he is. This episode was like episode 1a of the timeline this season since the premiere just focused on Hannibal and Bedelia.
