This Is The End (2013) Movie Starring James Franco, Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, Craig Robinson, Danny Mc

I finally saw it; I did not stop laughing the entire time

instantly one of my favorite comedies of all time

Didn't stop laughing the entire time? Gassin' till no end I see.

Dudes really think Franco is THAT funny? I swear the only people I've seen laugh at him are immature cats with high school level comedy meters.

Insulting anyone who has a different opinion from you is juvenile. Are you sure you're not the one in high school?

I'm sorry if James Franco stole your girl, get over it

I'm simply stating my opinion on the types of people I've seen rolling at his "jokes" in theaters... Spring Breakers was the worst movie I've ever seen in theaters, and he had a huge part in me coming to that conclusion.

If someone would provide me some sort of clip, stand-up, or scenario he was legit funny I would give credit where it's due.

Until then, welp.

He got Ethered in some thread last year, I guess he figured no one would remember
Oh.

We out here making up fairytales to try and prove our points now?

Oh.

Franco was very funny in this because it was self deprecating humor. Not every a list star would do that. He came off as a pretentious moron for a lot of the movie. a sandwich? THAT'S ART!

I just got back from seeing this. I thought the movie was pretty hilarious. The only thing I did not like was the end.

The entire movie was full of self depreciating humor. I think that is the appeal to this movie. It disarms the audience to see every actor willing to make fun of himslelf/herself.

I have a feeling that a good amount of movies are going to try to emulate this model of actors playing ridiculous versions of themselves. Not to say that it hasn't been done before (see NPH in the Harold and Kumar movies) but the mainstream success will probably bring on more copycats.

Oh.

don;t make me prove it

Again, there's nothing to prove.

Don't be upset because you're out here looking like a fan girl claiming this to be a top comedy of all time when in reality, it's average at best.
It'll be ok.

Why don't you just leave the thread instead

The majority of people don't agree with your average at best comment so I see why you are so hurt

It was funny, not as funny as I expected but funny. That Franco/McBride scene tho...., THAT was hilarious.

The ending was awesome, BSB are culture icons regardless if you like their music

It was hilarious

On second thought, there was way too much going on in this movie to catch the funny. I'll likely buy the blu ray and watch it again. I am in no way putting it on this level, but I might have to watch this like how I watched Anchorman. I didnt like Anchorman the first time I watched it, but watched it several times and each time it got funnier. I might have to do that with this movie.

If you're pondering seeing this movie I'd advise you to go with zero expectations or wait for it to drop on Redbox, it's a solid release but nothing spectacular or classic by any means.

But why would I leave when I could continue to shove my opinion down people's throats, and if they disagreed I could say they got "ethered" in another thread regardless of if it were true or not bruh?

I went to watch this movie with zero expectations and I loved it. All the cameos and the humor was great. Franco vs. McBride was hilarious and that ending was simply jaw dropping. Probably one of my favorite movies this year.

watched this and it was pretty funny. The only part that had me dying was the argument about the magazine.
