the problem with the recruiting is that it doesnt reward effort. it all feels kind of random.

That's the best wording of recruiting this year I've seen. I win 3 national titles in a row and no 5 star recruits only one in that time span even interested. Then recruits just randomly being interested and disinterested weekly. It's just bad.

Recruiting tips: 

What I've learned is look at the pitches and bonus points.  Bonus points are key because you can max out at 500 every week but if you're behind by 100 bonus points to the next team, you're wasting points.  Gems are really easy to find.  Scout your players early.  Pitch is the most important because you can give all your points to a guy who has a dealbreaker and not know it.

There is an issue with the facemasks for certain teams being gray on the PS3.

It is supposed to be addressed in the 1st patch.

[h1]The SEC Won't License Trademarks in Future Video Games[/h1]

The Southeastern Conference announced today that it will not, as a conference, license its trademarks in the EA Sports NCAA Football video game. This decision does not involve member universities as of yet, as this only involves the SEC conference name and logo.

However, this could be the type of event that opens the flood gates to future defections from the game. While the future of the College Football series looked somewhat on stable ground after EA and the CLC agreed to a three year deal, this news rattles the very foundations and future of the series.

"Each school makes its own individual decision regarding whether or not to license their trademarks for use in the EA Sports game(s)," the SEC said in a statement. "The Southeastern Conference has chosen not to do so moving forward. Neither the SEC, its member universities, nor the NCAA have ever licensed the right to use the name or likeness of any student to EA Sports."

This is another move in response to the Ed O'Bannon case which could end collegiate video games forever given unfavorable rulings from the courts.

Today's news only brings more questions as to the viability of the product going forward.

UPDATE: ESPN's Kristi Dosh is reporting that the Big XII says they have yet to make a decision on the inclusion of their marks in future College Football video games.

I swear this game does its best to punish you for running up the score.

CPU stays making spectacular catch INT's in the 4th against me when I got a 3+ score lead.

Was trying to distance the spread vs Okie St. last night in the Dynasty (after last season almost missing the NCG because of junk voting) I threw an out route to the sidelines and the S came up and 1-handed snagged my ball and 1 foot tiptoed inbounds for the pick.

[COLOR=#red]I was at home by myself last night, playing notre dame, and sure the hell enough did their running back (who isn't shabby by any means) break 6 tackles, 2 behind the line of scrimmage, to get a 20 yard touchdown.

Their QB in the 4th, got out of 2 Sacks, scrambled, broke another two tackles in order to rush for a touchdown. 10 yards or so.

No one else is having major connection errors in this game? I'm talking...I don't know.... 50+(conservative estimate) dynasty server errors over the course of 1 & 1/4 season.

I haven't had any issues like that... I'm in like year 6 of offline dynasty and year 2 of the online one.
