Timbaland hands down. 80% of the Neptune's catalog hasn't aged well today. Timbo's stuff back in the day still sounds amazing.

Timbaland > Pharrell

The Neptunes > Timbaland

The real mastermind behind Timbaland's music was Danja. When Danja left, Timbaland's music lost a lot of quality.

:x at anyone taking pharrell over tim. cmon how is this even a question? this is trolling at it's finest. but  at not one vid posted yet

well i cant embed damn lol

terrible quality too haha cant find the OG

so we going to act like pharrell didnt make these nasty *** beats

I bet you if this droppped this year it would still crush the summer like I did in 03

Timberland sucks...

easily Pharrell and The Neptunes.
Lie

I can go back and play some of that old school Aaliyah and the joint would resonate as well as it did in the 90's...

I guess most of you are picking Pharrell due to his fashion sense.

Pharrell.. imo he is way more musical than Timbo.

His catalog speaks for itself. And are people forgetting about his NERD projects as well? Even if you think NERD sucks (I know some people do), the fact that he had the creativity to branch out and try something like that speaks to his status as a musical innovator.

*ALSO, since everybody's been praising Timbo for his production on Timberlake's albums. Let's not act like Timbo didn't steal the whole "bridge" concept from Pharrell.. ie what he did on 20/20 and FS/LS where he switches up the beat mid-song. The Neptunes/NERD were doing that since the early 2000s. Someone please show me an example of Timbo doing that before the 'Tunes did.. I'll wait
Such ignorance in this post.....especially the *'d part.

How did Tim steal bridges from Pharrell? Especially when Chad Hugo did the bridges? Do you mean Timbo stole bridges from Chad?

At the end of the day I'm a huge neptunes fan (moreso Chad) and I'll even say that Timbo is the king.

Nope....

Pharrell saves careers.

Robin Thicke was riding around the city on a bike before he teamed up with Pharrell and dropped wanna love you girl

Remember where Snoop was before drop it like its hot came out?

Pharrell got everyone from 5 year olds to 85 year old Grandma's singing Blurred lines. Timbo ever produce a track like that?

True the Aaliyah stuff would still sound good. Only problem is Timbo stuff still sounds like that.

Pharrell and JT senorita is better than anything JT and Timbo produced imo

You can tell who knows about music

Resurrect careers?

He reinvented Nelly Furtado period...changed image, sound...and helped her become one of the biggest pop stars in the world.

From a sophomore flop to selling over 10 mil worldwide and having a number one album and song.

Blurred Lines was a direct rip off of Marvin Gaye. Why would you even mention that song? It's actually disgraceful to do it in 2013 and then try to say it's different. R Kelly trying to say it wasn't him the video. That's like giving credit for Juicy.

This isn't even close

Do Pharrell and Chad have the versatility Tim does? They still have the same sound from ten or fifteen years ago.

Meanwhile Timb has reinvented himself several times and done a lot more work...whole albums.

There's a reason other producers mention Tim Mosely. I've never heard another producer say The Neptunes were their favorite. That's like saying Swizz Beats is. There's a reason why nobody goes to them and says, I want a whole album from you. They're producers you get a song or two from.

Exactly...Timbo had hits for days man, and still does.

And all the stuff Timbo does with JT got old heads singing too. Talking bout Snoop...

Man I'm too high for this one.

It's hard because Tim and the super friends changed hip hop and r&b for years but it seemed after Baby girl died, I just don't know
P and Chad have put out so many hits and the beats just speak to me more, plus The Neptunes were the type of guys I was throughout high school and have saved alot of my favorite rap artist( busta,snoop,etc..) and I thoroughly haven't enjoyed a Tim production outside of Nelly Furtados last record and the first 20/20 and that last NERD album was just smh...
Pharrell(Neptunes) by a hair..
Have love for both though

c'mon son...

i'm adding all Neptunes ****, because dude's is adding a lot of Timbo **** that he didn't do solo either, as Danja, Scott Storch and J-Roc...

That Timbo/JT/Nelly Furtado song was :pimp: dissing Scott Storch on there

It's hard to choose, between these two though. HHNF, Lord Willin, and Already Platinum resonate the same with me as both Timbaland & Magoo albums & Supa Dupa Fly.

So many crazy statements in here.

Both are legends but I'll give Tim the edge. Damn near 20 years of consistency.

And pharrell didn't reinvent Gwen Stefani??

Timo aint as versatile as Pharrell Timbo doing tracks with Daft Punk??

Again tell me the last time Timbo had a song that was number 1 for like 15 weeks in a row.

Really when the 20/20 experience sounds just like FS/LS. Its not that great to tell you the truth. Only reason people are on it is because JT had been gone for so long
