This. It's crazy how people forget that this is what the ATHLETE wanted in their shoe and then that athlete approved the design.

I'm amazed how many people wear a signature shoe and get upset because it doesn't fit them "right."
 
130? Really? And he still doesn't have a knew box. Would love to know what constitutes the 15 extra dollars. I feel like they'll fall on their face with this model after the success of IV and V.
 
There's a reason that the "premium" KDs (BHM, ASG, Aunt Pearls) retailed for $135. They were testing how the market would react to the price point. Same goes for the "premium" Lebrons.

The aunt pearls were nicely made but I still wouldn't call that premium, like the EXT Lebron and Kobe's

he'd be more likely to hurt himself in the 4. That was a horrible shoe to ball in. The VI doesn't look as good, but I'm sure it performs 10000x better than the IV
 
Imo premium in this context basically meant limited edition colorways, so less obtainable then the GR pairs. Just a new term Nike is putting out to charge extra since the reselling market is really big right now. Where as premium use to mean better quality materials (which in a lot of shoes they still do such as Air Maxes)

i assume it means any special treatment to a shoe.
 
Still on the fence about these meteorology shoes or whatever.. That low cut and just so "flat" looking kills it for me.
 
I wonder if nike will do a NSW version of the kd VI? I would like to see how that would turn out

Like, EXT NSW, or slap a random vulcanized outsole on it NSW?

I can see leathers and suedes being implemented on these and working. They can keep that Van's knock-off business that they did with the Kobe 8 and LeBron 10 though.
