This, this, and this.
Its convientely forgotten that Denver scored touchdowns on a kickoff return and a punt return that game. But no blame to defense for that touchdown flacco threw even though Baltimore woulda been up 7 in the final minue if not for 2 special teams plays. All the Peyton fans I've ever argued with have a selective memory and funny way of passing the blame elsewhere. 2005 against Pittsburgh, there copout is to blame vanderjat as if the steelers didn't get screwed when polomalus interception got overturned and the only reason they got the ball back to begin with was due to a fluke Jerome bettis fumble.
End of the day Peyton is not the best qb of our generation.
Peyton is footballs version of the 1990's Atlanta braves.
If I want a guy who's going to win in the regular season and take me to 13-3 and a 1 and done playoff loss give me Peyton manning. He's been to the playoffs 12 times, 8 of those were 1 and done.
If I need to win 1 game of importance Peyton is about the 4th or 5th option id choose out of all the qb's currently in the league.
This is going to just be useless back and forth chatter all season long. Ill just wait til January when the broncos lose at home to another team they have no business losing to and say "I told you so"
