Not to disrespect, but you can clearly see these are Manual as oppose to previous work that you have done and claimed that are Manual. There's no reasonthat for those type of pictures should you be using aperture f/10 not only did you have to bump your ISO to 1600 you also had to go down to 1/5. Also for the1st picture - what was you trying to do? The focus is on the strap which is clear as opposed to the Jumpman which are the main focus of the picture ...

The second picture work a lot better, but is mad noisy because what mentioned above man ...

RONNSKIZZLE - I like that picture man .. is that a pano or what? Did you blend in the blacks????

elboricua 6 - Thanks very much, I just used my wide angle tamron 17-35mm, this is my uncropped version. I cropped another version it to seem like a pano for amuseum stretch canvas print.
I added more black into my skylight, the original was slightly lighter. At the moment I am going around Seattle getting different view points of the skyline, waiting for better weather and experimenting on my shutter speeds. Trying to catch a twilight, but traffic around Seattle sucks with construction and rushhour.

that's a nice capture .. I never been there, so I wasn't sure it was a pano .. some people might not like it but what I like is the way way the lightsgo into black on top and bottom .. makes it look hot IMO ..

so what you mean by museum stretch canvas? is this a school project or something?

elboricua 6 - Just one of my many personal projects. I am having it printed onto a canvas which will be framed like they are in museums

Gotcha - I didnt even know they could do that - I have a few personal photos that I might want this done .. is that an example yours?

D90 Kit & 40D Kit for $909 - I'm def not getting a D90, but hmm should I pull the trigger? Rap how much was you selling your 40D? how much better isthe 50D - I dont know if I want to move to the 5D since is full frame ..

pandastyle, i love your wedding set. i especially like the way you chose to focus on the glasses and the bouquet in the foreground of your14th shot, rather than focusing on the couple in the background. great stuff.

davevirgile, what are you trying to accomplish with those shots? if you were going for a close-up/macro style, they're sort of off themark since neither of them are in focus (the first less in focus than the second one).

elboricua 6 - Oh I just googled that example, I'll post it when I get mine in.
d90 / 40d - I would suggest going to Best Buy and playing with both bodies and see what fulfills your needs.

damn man this CC is crazy - someone just coppd 100mm macro for 227 and 50D for 1100 or so and so 70-300 for 325 ... wow

G10 for 345 .. wow

Ron...nice capture

I love panos and wide angle shots...i think every one who frequent this thread knows that. But the only i got to say is that try to have it one stop down(aperture) where the lights are too over exposed. I am a big fan of night shots, especially night x panos x skylines...i dont know i guess its just my thing.

question: I cant check the EXIF data but how many seconds of exposure did you take this at? just wondering.

BTW...I just got to Sasebo, Japan today. Nothing much here, unlike Tokyo...I'm gonna check out the 99 islands today, will post pics when I get the chance.
