Every foot varies. You have people with high pronation or with flat feet, wide or narrow feet, and so on. I have a average foot, med arch, and avg width. My White Infrareds fit better when I went .5 down. I had a 9 and 8.5 so I compared. The Carmines and Sport Blues felt exactly the same. With the Blk/Infrareds the 8.5 was noticeably tighter, even after relacing. The 9 felt more comfortable.
Once again each foot varies, use my statements to educate yourself, but I cant be held accountable because I can't measue your foot personally.

I have a size 12 that just arrived today from weekenddrop. I also was able to get a guaranteed ticket for size 11.5. If the 12 fits well I won't be picking up the 11.5's.
