Dwight 's 2009 playoff stats are relatively the same as regular season except he averaged 2 more rebounds(but he also played more minutes)

He had good series vs the Cavs and 76ers but not against the Celtics and Lakers
Cavs...were the best team doe, Celtics didn't have KG and Lakers were the Champs

I don't get what you are saying especially in regards to KG?

Isn't that worst that he didn't beast vs the Celtics especially since they didn't have KG?

Did a random search on Rondo's rehab and found both of these

So... his agent basically taking shots at Derrick Rose and Rondo taking shots at the Heat

 I love it

ORLANDO, Fla. — Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge has targeted the regular-season opener as the date to expect Rajon Rondo’s return to action, and the point guard’s agent agrees.
“That sounds right,” Bill Duffy said yesterday at the Orlando summer league. “We don’t want to put any pressure on him and overanticipate, but the main thing is to be healthy and 100 percent. He’s on target in his rehab and we anticipate a 100 percent return.”
Duffy doesn’t expect Rondo to suffer from the uncertainty that continues to hound Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose’s return from knee surgery.
“I think Rajon’s (knee surgery) was less severe, so he’s more optimistic,” Duffy said. “I don’t think that’s Rajon’s nature. He’s not going to be as patient. But psychologically he’ll be fine. That was a big hurdle for Rose, but Rajon isn’t made that way.”
Nor does Rondo appear to be bothered by the latest round of trade rumors.
“He’s been going through that for the last three years,” Duffy said. “He’s just used to it.”

if you watch the series you will understand why he scored less...anyways, the Cavs were the best defensive team in the NBA in 08-09, and Dwight Howard was the reason why they got passed the number 1 seed Cavs http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/t...son-per-game/sort/avgPointsOpponent/year/2009

Why don't you articulate why he scored less?

"That was a big hurdle for Rose but Rajon isn't made like that"

Dog

Rose going to come back with a vengeance after all this slander

Durantula is still going hard for Dwight like his team just got Hakeem or something

:pimp:

my hatred for dwight can be well documented in the laker thread months before the season ended.....

i dont think alot of people wanted him back.....paying a player that is a liability in the 4th quarter
20 30 million dollars at the end of his prime until he's 32 42 has set us up for years of failure

*Fixed* Wait you were talking about Kobe right? :smokin
 obviously.

I was right about the 30 mil and the old age and set up for years of failure tho

In 2015?

and it's just Lakers fans, that's the crazy thing.

Every single non-Laker fan I hear talk about last season is in agreement that Dwight was wildly successful last year.

it's just Laker fans that call D12's Laker season a failure.

Yyyepp.
As a Knick fan, I can say Dwight's season in LAL was not his usual and he could've done way better. Not a failure but he could've been more dominant like I've seen him be, especially in this centerless league but I chalk all that up to his injuries and not wanting to play for Pringles.

yup, Amare was a beast the only thing he could do was play a lick of defense :x in his Phx prime days tho, one of the best players to watch :x

Even in his first year with NYK, he was mad efficient and probably was a top 10 NBA player - but it all changed when Melo came through.

That Felton-Fields-Gallo-Chandler-Amare team was one of my favorites EVER. Amare was playing at a legit MVP level the first half of the year.

Meh. It all changed when Amare couldn't stay healthy.

Also, Amare was a beast but he was also in a perfect situation with that system and prime Nash.
