I think it's a chick that plays for the wnba , she's sponsored by another brand so she covered the swoosh. It's a player exclusive , you might be able to Id a pair.

I actually just read an article with this picture. WNBA rules does not allow player to wear other brand logo unless they are Adidas brand or a sponsored brand, Nike only have 50 players that they payed to have the swoosh exposed.

Idk why anyone would pay 2500 for the all black htm's when we're definitely going to get more interesting colorways than that.

I don't know why anyone would pay 2500 for any shoe. However, personally I like basic colorways like the all black HTM over some of the crazier stuff Nike produces. It's all in people's preferences.

I like having some basic colorways in the collection too of course, but almost every shoe model has an all black version that can be had even on sale.
It just doesn't make sense that something with about the same material, with a name and one color difference, something that they can do for a few bucks, causes us to be willing to pay 10x the retail amount. We're like nike slaves.

Haha people are only willing to pay 10x because of how limited it was. It doesn't have much to do with what the shoe is. I think it's a great shoe but once they throw HTM on it and only release in Milan that will make people lust for it. That's the only reason people are willing to pay the money. Not necessarily Nike slaves but closer to hype slaves. Shoe game is more of a contest of who have the rarest more limited shoes no matter what they look like now rather than just getting what someone wants. I know not everyone is under that category. I can admit to impulse buys because I knew the shoe was limited and rare and I had no intention on wearing so after a few months I usually end up selling them.

The sad thing is nike could literally troll people by purposely making the ugliest colorway possible and make it super limited and watch people pay crazy prices. They can do anything they want and get us to pay somehow.

Idk if I agree with that entirely. Regardless of hype and you got the money to spend on a kick you really wanted but missed out, go for it. That does not make you a "hype slave". Buy what you want, if you got it like that.
