Just bought the ASG's/Maestro's yesterday for $300. Rarely do I pay over retail but I like these a lot. Best colorway of the 9 so far, with the Masterpiece close behind. Plus, 70 over retail+tax isn't too bad.

Can't stop rocking the inspirations, after thinking bout how to make em pop I threw on some orange elites and it really helps bring out the contrast in the fk. Not sure how well that shows in pics but flash/noflash... tempted to sell my mps n get another pair of inspirations, the showtimes, n poorly a couple more the way mps are going. I dunno that they break 6 bills tho.

Have a question do you guys have any kobe 9 still around your area?
The reason I ask is because they sure are making alot of venomenon shoes and I think they are doing that because they know the kobe 9 are hype or limited and nike needs to have a kobe shoe too sell.
In the Dallas area I saw the Perspectives and the Details still on display at a local HOH. I don't have numbers to back it up, but I believe nike is producing the same amount of shoes but just in more colorways specifically, Kobe's, Lebrons, and Durants. Those lines used to sit for a few weeks here. This artificially limits the shoe and allows people who are really into shoes, to buy multiple pairs. For example, Instead of 450,000 pairs divided over 3 color-ways, they produce 75,000 pairs of 6 different color-ways. Same number of shoes, just more colors and more limited. I am a "old head". The idea of having the same shoe in multiple colors was strange in the 90's and even early 2000's, but very common now, even for guys who don't consider themselves sneakerheads

Heading to Dallas today...you talking about the one at Northpark? You get a chance to see any sizes?

People overplay this "Everyone hated them at first, and now they like them" stuff. People do.........ummmm.....CHANGE THEIR MINDS. I'm not gonna pretend to know the motivation for people changing their minds like a lot of people do, nor do I care. Live and let live. I remember in the 90's when Tinker said he designed Jordans and wanted people to hate them at first.  He said he wanted his designs to grow on people.  Folks act like it's a crime for human beings to change their minds.  Who cares?  Do you.

When trying on a shoe, hard floors are better so you can judge the cushioning.
Agreed. I can't remember where but in Houston there was one place I used to get my sneakers and they had a court you could actually go give your pair a test drive.

The KOBE 9 Elite launched last December represents Bryant’s most provocative shoe to date – the first Nike Basketball shoe featuring Flyknit. The KOBE 9 Elite Hero sports a wolf grey upper and pop art inspired camouflage on the heel area. Designed by Eric Avar, it maximizes innovation with Lunarlon, dynamic Flywire and carbon fiber throughout, while its ultra-lightweight design enables natural motion.

We had Just For Feet stores here in Dallas that were like that, and the FTL in Southwest Center Mall was the same as well.

One Sports Authority had a half court but then no more after the renovation. Probably liability issue if someone were to get hurt or a fight breaks out.
