does anyone wear these for casual? i would think the wolf greys are the only ones that would work. can these be rocked with regular pants/denim at all or they really only look good in the gym with athletic shorts/pants on?

They're shoes, wear them with what you want. You need people to give you permission?

no i dont need anyone's permission. obviously. its just a question, no need for a rude response. im just curious on others thoughts before i possibly buy them.

Personally, I don't see them working with pants or denim, they're suuuuper low profile.

I really wish they had the greys on sale

they did, just missed out with the 25% off

copped the wolf greys for $80 with the clearance and a discount code I had. Really happy with them, mad comfy

Got a pair of the Volt/EG from NDC during the clearance promo.  I went .5 size up from my TTS and they fit just fine.  I can't wear thick socks with them, but then again I don't think these shoes are intended for that.  I'll stick to no-show dri-fits or compression socks.

It's too cold to run in them now, but I'll definitely put some good use to them during the spring/summer.

Damn I missed the code. NDC going to have that sale anytime soon again?

I really want a pair of the dark greys.
Looks like one of The Shredder's FOOT SOLDIERS took a #KOTD pic before riding out on the Ninja Turtles.

I'm a consistent runner. 6 miles a day at least everyday. These are by far the most comfortable nike shoe out. As far as durability goes, that's the problem. Not worth the 170 but 100 is doable.

How long do you think your sole will last? That is my main concern, I used to run 5 miles a day but lately (sicne it's been chilly in the morning when I run) it's more like 2-3 but the shoe being a minimal and low as it is supposed to be, I am afraid the sole will melt away after a few runs.

My honest opinion, which isn't the set in stone fact of course and changes depending on conditions, I'd give it 3-4 months based on what I'm doing. Average shoe should be changed out every 6 months give or take so it isn't THAT bad, but for 170? Nah.

If you've used the fist free 3.0, which felt like it would last a week, it's a little bit stronger than that.

Ahh, thanks for the info. I think I can live with that, I have a few on rotation for running anyways.

Now NDC needs to either drop it to $100 or give us a new coupon code!

No problem.

I will say this though. Once a week I do a 12 mile run, almost a half marathon, and when I do, these will NOT be what I use. I still go to the goat shoe IMO, free 5.0 2010 version.

Oh yeah, I go with my Pegasus or LunarGlides when I do runs past 5 miles or else my knees and feet starts to hurt.

FreeRun or FreeFK for shorter runs.

Also want to give the HyperFeel a try for some plyo and HIIT and maybe even lifting. I feel like it can be an all around trainer for me, just got to try them out.

I've been using the HFs for plyo, HIIT workouts and leg days.  They've been great so far.
