Just got offered V-Jax or Marcus Colston for Willis McGahee .. What should I do? I just lost Julio

My current RBs: Trent Richardson, Chris Johnson, McFadden, Mcgahee, Lamar Miller

My current WRs: Demaryius Thomas, TY Hilton, Thompkins, Terrance Williams, Keenan Allen

My main problem is Richardson and Johnson both have a by Week 8, my RB situation is going to look horrendous if I have too roll with McFadden and Miller as my starters. Nobody else on the wire worth picking up even though I put the claim in for Jacobs.

HELP!!
 
Despite losing Julio, your WR situation aint that bad. DT and Hilton are solid WR1 and WR2. Allen just got promoted to #1 on the depth chart.

With Pryor stepping up, I think McFadden will start to produce.

If you do deal, I would go for Colston over V-Jax.

id do either of those trades. i guess depending on your record you could endure a week with mcfadden  (if healthy) and miller at the rb spot.

maybe look into selling high on williams and keenan allen as they are the hottest pick-ups this week for another RB ...jacobs ?

So in one of my keeper leagues last year, someone flat out dropped Chris Johnson and I was able to nab him. Protected him too.
Now someone just did it again and dropped Spiller. :lol:


So as long as I make the playoffs, I have a roster that shapes up basically like

Brady
Romo

Rice
CJ2K
Spiller
Lacy

Calvin
Green
Welker
Austin

Graham
Cook

Zeurlein

Miami D


If I don't freakin win this year.......... :smh:

Yeah I prefer Colston although he hasn't really done much yet. I feel you, I think I can survive with my WRs but IF another one of them gets hurt I'm screwed.

Yeah I'm 4-1, which is about to be 4-2 since the guy I'm playing this week has Peyton vs the Jags :x

I'm probably going to pull the trigger on Colston for McGahee ... I tried to counter with McGahee and Williams for Colston and Woodhead or Moreno but he wouldn't budge.

So I asked this on here before but I only got a couple answers. I got offered my James Jones, Gio and Hopkins for his AJ Green and McGahee. The only reason I'm even questioning it is because I don't know if AJ is gonna have as many big games as Jones will have considering the offenses that they're part of. Also, Gio can blow up any game while McGahee should put up steady numbers getting all the carries in Cleveland but not anything that great as my #2 RB. And with the Texans losing Daniels I think Hopkins targets/value will go up a ton.

My team would be

Brady
McCoy, McGahee, David Wilson, Zac Stacy, Bryce Brown
Demaryius, AJ Green, Percy Harvin, Keenan Allen, Edelman
Olsen, Jordan Reed
Browns D/ST
Gostkowski

It all comes down to how you really feel about AJ Green. If you think he can turn it up down the stretch, go for it. It's not a guarantee Jones will produce every week, you still have to worry about Nelson, Cobb, and Finley plus Lacy is back so GB will be running more. McGahee has no competition right now unlike Gio. Hopkins targets will go up, but what happens when the Texans pull the plug on Schuab and turn to Yates?
 
I'm playing my boy in our league this week and he has Peyton, Demariyus, and Moreno :x :x :x :x. Pretty much chalked this week up as a loss already :smh:.

fantasy aside, prior to the annoouncement of the death, he said he would play this weekend, idk how he even plays this week. tragic loss for anyone. 
 
Seeing that Miles Austin will be back at second receiving slot, should I stay with Terrance Williams as my flex or use Denarius Moore?

Williams.

1. Miles probably leaves game early because of injury
2. It's against Washington's horrible passing defense so there's still plenty of touches to go around
3. Oakland plays in Kansas City against a very good defense/secondary.

opted to play alshon jeffery last night under the premise that andre johnson would sit out (injured shin) but looks like he'll play. who should i start along with him?
 
yea if I was ad, being able to truck someone at full speed would be the only thing stopping me from a murder case

Anyone ever play on FanDuel? Me and a couple of my boys signed up earlier. It's pretty cool, it's a weekly fantasy game where you pick new players each week. Entry fee ranges from $1 to >$100. Depending on the league/tourney you choose, you get a salary cap (usually ~$60k) to choose players from. Leagues range from a few to thousands of people. I went with Henne because I think he throws for some nice yardage and a few TDs due to them being down the whole game :lol:, and because he was insanely cheap which allowed me to fill out the rest of my team with some top notch guys. Thinking about swapping out Shorts for Blackmon, or taking a safer pick since I have $1500 in cap room left over.

^i signed up 2 weeks ago best finish is 250 in a 3000 team league :rofl: it's definitely cool though like how you get a clean slate each week picked up peyton for one entry and went with cutler in another to save some cap money...soooooo mad I went with Jeffery over Marshall though smh I switched it last minute -___-
 
^ :lol: Nah man the one I joined top prize is $3000 for a $10 entry. While the chances of me coming in first are slim to none it's still a 300% return on investment :lol:. And I know I'm gonna make some last minute change and regret every one of them. Always happens :smh:.

Who else do you have at TE? I have Clay and Pettigrew til he comes back. I've been thinking of trading him though. Had an offer to trade him for Gates straight up that I'm pretty sure I can still do, but I'm not fond of either TEs so I stuck with the better upside. I've never owned Gronk or Gates before. I know he'll be Brady's go-to, but how healthy can he really be all season.

And I was hoping Gronk would play this Sunday, but it looks like he won't be. Now I'm stuck starting Pettigrew (Clay is on a bye) or picking up Cumberland

I'm in the same boat. I had Clay but since he's on a bye I went with Jordan Reed vs. Dallas this week. He's put up right around 10 points in each game so far this year (PPR). That same stat line with a TD in there puts him in the upper echelon of TE scores for the week.

It's getting really annoying with Gronk each week. I thought I had a steal in the 7th round but now I wish I hadn't even drafted him :rolleyes.

I have Cameron as my other TE and he's been getting me good points every week. I would want to play Gronk in my flex spot, but can he stay healthy once he returns. I'm going to keep him stashed until he has a good game and maybe try to trade him IF that happens.

On a side note, is Percy Harvin worth stashing? My receiving core is alright besides Dez and then I have Roddy on the bench.
 
^ Must be nice :smh:. I drafted Sudfeld to play in Gronk's place until he came back :lol:.

But Harvin is definitely worth a stash, especially if you have an IR slot to put him in. While he was expected to return in November, recently there have been whispers of a possible week 7 return.
