I see people are back on their Pyramid scheme grind. Vol. 5Linx

Recently some dude I was cool with ONLY during freshman year of college hit me up asking me how I was doing and stuff and then he hit me with it. I told him I didn't want to do and dude was like "You don't want to make money? Meet me. I'll explain. You can do what you're doing and still do this. I know some who makes X amount and another who makes X amount. You can make money is your sleep. Be your own business don't let the business own you." He keeps sending me pictures of his check and stuff. Texting me at awkward times of the day like 6am. I think if you want to get rid of all your friends by annoying the hell out of them this is the perfect way to do so.

When I was in Vegas last week there was a big convention for this company Vemma, most of them were kids under 25 trying to talk up their product. Total pyramid scheme, they were all talking about how the top people in the company are rich blah blah blah. One guy was trying to talk to my buddy who is head of marketing for one of the larges micro breweries in the US and was trying to compare their energy drink Verve they push to a micro brewed beer :smh:

The chicks were pretty hot and easy though :smokin

home boy attended this nonsense :smh:
he has been hitting me up for a few weeks now wanting to talk about this "project" of his, and how it is a "game changer"
i went to his crib about a week prior and seen boxes of these drinks in his room and quickly put 2 and 2 together.
i had never felt so disappointed in son :smh:
sad because these 'companies' straight brainwash some of these gullible folks, i just never thought he'd be dumb enough to fall for this crap.
worse part is i dont even have the heart to break it to son. like, i know if i break it down to him dude is gonna be in straight denial

is it just me or do the people behind these pyramid schemes attempt and try to prey moreso on specific ethnic groups or is that a reach?

I ****ing hate Wake up now, I know ppl who claim to be doing that, that still work their same old job they been doing. At first i tried to look at it like, makes sense why would they give up the extra revenue. But the jobs these people are still doing while they buy all these "expensive" watches and go on lavish trips just to go back to your bull**** job. Sounds like its just some extra cash but deff not something that's gone get you rich (prob never promised anyone would be rich). but what do I know. Seems like if your gonna work that hard for this pipe dream you mine as well go into business for yourself.

Some girl I literally never talked to in high school hits me up after College like shes so compelled to talk to me. Then turns out shes pitching one of these nonsense schemes. I knew something was up but just wrote it off at first as her wanting to give up the buns

. Fail. Deaded that convo real quick.

not a reach.

Not a reach. But I wouldn't say ethnic group. More so a "economic group". If you know what I mean. Wake up now targets the young adults in the hood. Hood mentality= get rich quick. Hood people= black, Latinos, some lower class white people. It's all about what economic demographic you belong to.
A young brotha who's parents is rich and lives in a downtown Brooklyn condo ain't gonna be interested in WUN. But Daquan in the Brownsville is. Why? Because he wants that new 6 series to "stunt"

Idk man. From the outside looking in, it looks like people CAN make money with wake up now. But it takes a WHOLE lot of effort. So much to the point that If someone were to put that much effort into their current job, they'd be making double

And half the people that say they're making bread with wake up now are fronting. There's maybe only a handful actually making serious guap. $600 a month is nothing.
And to get that 600 you have to sign up 3 ppl, who each have to sign up 3 ppl (and a sign up fee is $100)...So you gotta be responsible of finding 12 people willing to pay $100 for access some ******** discount deals (that you can find on a coupon website for free) just so you can see $600

This girl I was dating was doing that body wrap MLM crap. I am studying accounting and tried to get her on a legitimate hustle so that she could have a more lucrative backbone that no one could take away. Just didn't wanna sacrifice and go to school for something real. Looking for any possible shortcut just so she can say that she was doing something :smh:

I would try to tell her straight up but she would get really defensive and tell me that I was being negative and biased :smh:

She did it for like 3 months.

It is a mind game. The really smart people are at the top feeding on people who are desperate to make something of themselves. They actually make people believe that they are 'doing a good thing' and 'helping' people. Telling them everything they need to. Flashing money, cars etc.

But they are the 1% though. It is crazy to watch

Brilliant though

Its more than a reach it's a straight up fallacy. Yall just don't know any lower/working class white people.

Just like everything else that has a true correlation with lower socioeconomic and education status we think that means there's a correlation with certain ethnic groups for various reasons.

Wake Up Now could be an exception I don't know anything about it but I bet my NT name that the vast majority of Americans involved with pyramid schemes or MLM businesses are white.

I'll say wake up now is :smh:

Chick I hit few years ago hit me up on fb like she wanted to talk. I peeped her page and saw that wake up now **** so I didn't even respond lol

I have never met one legit professional who openly tells strangers how much money he/she makes. NEVER. Hell I have never met anyone who talks about money in that way period.

That should be the first sign.

I am actually hoping to be a forensic accountant. This is gonna be my game :pimp:. Time, you cannot escape time. We will catch all these guys :pimp:
