Like I said, movie magic can fix all that stuff. The cover is horrible with the white background. They should of made it darker to hide things. Batman looks ridiculous photo bombing back there

Yeah, I get what you guys are saying for sure. Unless they somehow make her look like she's 6'4 it'll just look silly to see her go up against doomsday or whoever when they ultimately fight some OP bad guy. But for now I can say she looks fine

She is a magical being. She doesnt have to look like hercules
I think she has to look athletic.. But like a high jumper or pole vaulter.. Tall and lean.. But still with an athletic appearance
Or like a volleyball player
I agree. Doesn't have to be brolic, but if she can just be sleekly toned, that'd be enough. Then it'd be up to her acting to close the deal.

Gal's muscles (or lack thereof) is the last of my concerns. Luckily for her, it's not like there's a great precedence of live action Wonder Woman actresses she has to worry about.
And really, do they have to make Batfleck look that depressed in every studio pic? He looks like he's about to jump off a bridge sans cape or grappling hook.

Eh, it's all about perception. You first saw Lucy Lawless in an action role. Gal is a skinny model who hasn't been in that type of role. There hasn't even been a trailer yet of her in action. You're just hating to hate.

Not hating to hate. I just don't see it. I'm excited for BVS. Don't get me wrong. I wasn't one of the Marvel Stan's who was disparaging it. I actually think Ben Affleck will do a good job. Hopefully Gal surprises people and does the role justice.
Xena would still wash her though.

A lot of people are just so pessimistic / negative nowadays. We won't know if an actor will be good in a role until we see the actual work anyway. I like her so I want to see her do well as the character. If she doesn't flourish then I will definitely say someone else should've been cast. She looks good in the costume though.

I still don't think Gal Gadot looks like Wonder Woman. I don't look at her and see someone who can go toe-to-toe with powerful beings. She looks frail to me. I feel like a lot of action movies with female leads look ridiculous when you see these scrawny models who look awkward throwing a punch beating up dudes 3 times their size.
Gina looks the part minus her lack of height, but I can't honestly think of a current actress that would be the perfect fit. We need to find the modern day Xena.
I think Jamie Alexander as Sif comes pretty close. But after seeing that pic, I'm sure she'll look fine on-screen.
Liz Olson is the definition of a twig and she was looking nice in AoU. Movie magic will definitely do its magic.

That's the first time I've heard twig and Liz Olsen put together. I've always felt she could stand to lose a little more weight, or at least tone up a little bit and look a little less softer
