This.Really all the youngns are banging Keef for the most part. And the rest is just what ever song bangs. Like that trash French Montana.
The Barbershop went ape **** when that song came on a couple weeks ago.

Basically what we're looking at here is a timeline.
TI put "trap" on the map over a decade ago. Dude shouldn't even be just "hot" in the streets like that at this point in his career.
He's had massive singles, platinum albums, done flicks. And if he needs "street" stripes, had a hard time staying out of prison through all of that. But his career moved well beyond that a while ago.
Kind of like Jay. Though obviously not on the same level. There's cats around the way that keep an eye and an ear on that, but the young dudes are coming up on something else. But Jay's noise right now is a single with Justin Timberlake and an artsy video.
Gucci should be "hotter" in the street just on the strength of him being more recent. And his career never really moved past it.

The first week of the tape or album I hear Gucci after that. I really don't here him at all.
I remember cranking Burrprint 2 for a whole summer. Now Gucci gets a week tops.

UGK was for more intelligent beyond "trap music." They came up with Trill but I think trap music started in Atlanta... TI, or Jeezy, or even Lil John (maybe) ****, Big Boi from 'kast the first person I heard use 'trap' on a track. Granted, I'm from LA so don't take my word for gospel.
