Fast and Furious Thread: Hobbs and Shaw Spin Off 2019 - Tyrese career ending injury

I like it. Retire him is better than killing him off which would not have made any of us comfortable.

Question is, does that force Mia to leave the franchise too, or can she still appear in 8-9 if she wants?

Mia's probably gone. Man they should wrap up the whole thing in all honestly in the 7th. Fast and the Furious without Brian O'Connor just doesn't feel right

Yeah, I agree it should all end with this 7th one but I doubt Vin will let that money pass him by. I honestly wouldn't mind if 8-9 was another spin-off or something.

I too would think that Mia would be done with the series. It wouldn't make no sense for O'Conner to retire from the team and his wife still running missions.

I'd prefer to see the series end after this film.

And I get confused whenever I see that Expendables 3 trailer...Used the same font for the Fast and Furious title. lol.

6th one was not horrible

how was it good? srs

i watched it. pretty much by the final scene on the runway i stopped paying attention.

im a HUGE fan of this series, the only one out of the first 5 that i didnt like was the 4th one, fast & furious.

Ya'll know its gonna be Vin saying the last words to "retire" Paul in the movie.

only if the current plot isnt resolved in this one. like if they dont catch statham in 7 or if something else happens that leads to another story/villain (like the end of 6). otherwise, no paul and a resolved story = its done, let it go out on top.

also, seeing those pics, i too have the feels :frown:

I wouldn't mind a spin off from each of the character's life. They already have a very established fan base so it's printing money at this point.

The 6th is basically a B+ version of Fast Five. It does all the same ridiculous things.. just not quite as well.

like that means something? i wasnt gonna go by myself. all my friends went opening night when i couldnt go

the movie sucked SRS

If you are a huge fan of the franchise and believe the 6th was the worst you are delusional, movie was dope....your opinion SUCKS.

i didnt say worst one, i said horrible

the worst one was the 4th.. fast & furious

6 had the whole cast, Lety back, a SERIOUS villain in Shaw, the best credit scene in the series, insane stunts including the London chase, girl fight, Ja/Han/Roman fight, the duel in the plane, the whole runway scene, the tank, the Dom/Lety race, the code speech that referred to Statham in his other movies, the tragedy of Gisele, the double cross of Carano, plenty of humor, and even the jail scene with Braga.

You are a fool if you think that movie was not one of the two best in the series. 5 and 6, or 6 and 5 in some order.

i guess i have to watch it again, the movie was ok around the middle but everyting else was meh

ill be back sooner or later

5 is definitely better than 6 IMO but 6 is still entertaining

6 is just too ridiculous at times. The Letty angle is cool but the main villain didn't have enough personality

Statham in 7 though? Can't. Wait.

Shaw didn't have enough personality?????

Dude was ruthless, sinister, evil, dangerous, respected his adversaries, was 5 steps ahead of everybody, and was a certified bad *** unlike any villain in the series.

I mean....
