we was at a spot that had a rumble pop off and everyone dipped, one of my goonies had just copped a pelle and left it at coat check...

pssh joint was ghost, i know he was livid.

La Marina has been there for yearsssss bro...probably even before MamaJuanas...it wasn't as fancy or popular then tho...it was more for the older crowd than anything and it didn't have a beach side.

If you don't like the clubbing scene in the bx you do not like the clubbing scene in the heights .. IMHO

just to clarify - before I go to QUEENS or BK to party - I'm in the BX all night long!

you bougie, you grew up there and probably developed whatever kind of hustle/ambitious nature you have because of that area, but you wanna knock it 
 
The Bronx is a beautiful neighborhood with solid citizens.

I've stayed in soundview and riverdale so that's one extreme being compared to the other lmao
 
Is just the truth, can't really think of a nice lounge/club in the BX...I grew up right around Webster which has a little mini strip of lounges and them joints rachet as hell...the thing about the heights/dyckman is that the women are rachet but they dress it up with some level of glamour, the club scene in the BX is just straight blatant rachetness man...lol
 
Riverdale midas well be its own borough....people from there donot concider themselves bronxites
 
I know exactly what your saying. I stay right by the train on 231st but walk a few blocks west and its like entering a different world.

Webster ave had what strip of club - what location are you talking about ... don't remember this strip you talking about?

Because when Jetset Cafe was popping - that club was always fancy status - after it became a ratchet reggaeton spot, but the crows moved on ...

Let me see Eros (Sundays) - Monte Carlos (Saturdays) - Tropical - Aguila - Ibizza - Jetset ... that use to be my normal set and all these clubs were equally as bad as Mirage - 809 - Arka - Dykman Bar - Umbrella - etc .... same **** different locations .. 

Living wise So.Bronx and nothing to brag about - but just like the heights - it has more to offer Riverdale is not the only nice neighborhood in the BX ... just saying!

I say strip because it has about 3 lounges in a 5 block radius...back when i was doing photography for 7dias7noches I used to be in Jetset, shorties used to get up on stage no panties on and get fingered by dudes in te front...kid you not....then now you have D'noise, I swear joint is a sausage convention, Aguila?...one if my clients does security there...it's rachet bro...what other spot...maybe the joints by throgsneck like 7one8 not sure if its still open was more of a grown crowd...then you got the spots by carle hill under the 6 train, haven't been there in years but every time I was there some huge fight broke out....the the West Indian spots north of white plains and 233rd which are not my crowd because I'm not West Indian...lol the only spot I used to give credit to was xbar, which is no longer there and now the golf course north of Pelham parkway that camino DJs at sometimes...all in all before I club in te BX, I'll cross the 207 bridge and club in dyckman....never seen a fight break out and the people just seem a but more pleasant....idk that's just my opinion.

It's cool man ... yeah different opinion man.

XBar IMHO was the worst of all these places man - I use to like it much more when it was Jimmy Bronx Cafe ... Aguila might be rachet now, but it was a DL spot that was all about getting down ... In regards to fight, that happens anywhere - I remember when I use to come out from MC - I use to hit the heights to eat and on 207 (Melody) fight outside - by Umbrella fight outside - by 809 fight outside - no kidding ... just sayiing ...

girls getting pop on stage - well that again is anywhere ... Ibizza was a chill spot never saw a fight there and always classy man ... all my dudes from BK and Queens always be talking about goign to the bronx and heights to party ... just saying .....

If yall are serious about this let me know. I don't live too far from La Marina. I was in there for the first time over Labor Day weekend. SO MANY BAD JOINTS. I was legit on sensory overload for like an hour. Ended up pulling this thick jewish joint outta there. If any of yall hit up APT 78 let me know, I live right upstairs.
