NEW BASKETBALL SHOE FROM NIKE !!! NIKE ZOOM HYPERREV . CHECK INSIDE FOR PICS,SPRING 2014...OPINI

I do hoop and i wear my brons from time to time, what i meant the kobe line is obviously the premier Guard shoe for nike, While the Kds are more shooter shoes cause of the heel zoom bag which is clutch when catching and shooting, so what i meant is that those two shoes are meant appeal to a wide brand of players play style while brons aren't

And i lebrons should move more in the direction of being a big man shoe or a guard shoe cause i feel they are trying to much to be both and thats why i can't mess with the lebron 11 too much even tho i like them alot

KD's have never had a zoom bag in the heel...

Pickep up my Gym Red Hyperrev this Saturday and hooped in them Sunday for a game. Court I played on was painted concrete, which was moderately dusty. Nevertheless, I did not skate once on the court. Court grip of the Hyperrev was not excellent, but it wasn't bad at all. It did not always have that "squeak" that I typically had with my Hyperdunk '13 on any court condition. Wiping the outsole with my bare hands during dead balls helped a bit.

A little caveat: I did some runs with my Hyperrev on rough concrete before playing in them. Tried to drag the soles, too. Perhaps it helped roughen the traction. Props to @duke40  for the tip.

Fit is TTS. It felt like there's a wee bit of dead space in the upper near toe box. But it wasn't really a big issue.

Cushion felt great. Very comfortable. Not too mushy. Not too responsive, either.

I tried these on was in a rush

Long story short didnt cop at the ES cause i couldnt even get my foot in, like god damn

I feel you. It was tough for me but once I got my foot in..fit was crazy. I had tried them on as soon as they came out in footlocker I had already purchased online though so would have been sick if I didn't like the fit, then I finally got my pair a month later...

Finally pulled the trigger on the Oregon color way. I typically wear a size 12 but would have preferred these in an 11.5 .... Had to settle for 12becasuse 11.5 was sold out. I have a guy that's gonna customize them with the Puddles "Fighting Ducks" logo. Kinda excited to see how it will turn out. He's customized kicks for me before so I know he does high quality work. Hopefully they'll be completed by the time my new authentic Oregon Hyper Elite Dominance shorts arrive.

No. These are pretty flimsy and non durable. Not sure if you want to use it as cross training.

Why would you want to use it for cross training in the first place instead of the thousands of purpose built shoes out there...

Why's that?
Right now I been rocking with the hyperfuse 2012 for light pick up games during my break at school, but when I tried on my hyperrev last night around my room....the way they felt, smh dont think I am ever going to put on my hyperfuses again. The soles of my feet almost always hurt after wearing the hyperfuse, only a couple times they have not. Dont think ill experience any pain with the hyperrev gonna give em the first go tomorrow.

Ah, that moment when you realize one shoe is so much better overall than another.

It's both good and bad.  Good because you can enjoy the better shoe and look forward to how great it is.  Bad because it can make your other shoes just sit and collect dust.

I'm trying to stop with new pickups until I use what I have, that way I won't have to deal with that issue.  But hyperrevs are on my radar.

To those who have a pair, would this be a good shoe to do cross training/running in?
Nope

^if it suddenly occurred with this shoe then I think it does have something to do with it. But that's weird, after my shin splints incident I thought it was because I used shoes with the cushioning really worn out. Doesn't make sense with these, considering full length zoom. Only thing I can think of is based off the pronation that you mentioned, maybe this shoe being so free and sock like allowed his foot free range of motion and his over pronation was more prevalent compared to a more solid shoe that "attaches" the ankle to the foot. Of course this is based off my basic knowledge of the subject.
