Again they went to court about the issue because the poor door was implemented after the tenants were selected for the apartment, it wasn't included in the lease.

They aren't being given a choice bro. There is no offer. They're being told where they can enter and exit. You gotta look your friends and family in the face as your explain why you can't walk them through the front door. That sits right with you? Save some money, toss dignity out the door? There's a level of civility that's involved here that some of you seem to be missing. Your neighbors smirking in your face as you are forced to go in the back and they're greeted in the front by the doorman smh.
You're missing the point, the entrance is part of the amenities. You got the doorman, the stupid wheelie thing for your package, and the view. So your landlord wouldn't be offering $500 to walk through a different door, it would be for the pool, the community room, storage, gym, etc. Yeah I would refuse.
