***Official Breakfast Club Interview Thread***

Mario crazy talented.

"Just a friend" and "let me love you" are absolute classics. They shot the just a friend video round the way in Zone 12. My man had the Ray Lew jersey [emoji]128526[/emoji].

I concur

This was hot in the clubs and radio for a minute

This was hot too

also think it's wild rude these interviewers not even researching the guests anymore

heard charlamagne say he wanted to do face to face research by asking chance the stuff he wanted to know instead of researching first

talking bout people act fake by acting like they know the guests

you get paid to do research and interview guests!

whatthehell

It's funny how he talks about how he studied the greats, as if he is some great interviewer.

I also noticed homebody doesnt listen at all during the interviews. He would ask something thats already been discussed especially at the end. This has happened numerous times.

You can tell when he has no interest in the guest.

He'll just sit there zoning out and all he adds are dumb random off topic questions

Just saw the chance the rapper video and it was alright. CTG comments were dumb but it didn't derail the interview until the end. His tone to donnie trumpet was sideways. He and yee def need to do more research and ask better questions. I still prefer them over anything rosenberg is in, all he does is cut off people and talk non-stop.

Charlamagne literally be googling the guests while they're there and just bring up a random rumor or something they got going around, that's why he always on that computer

I give Charlamagne the most credit. You can tell he actually listens or has listened to most of the guests. Envy has no clue who half of the artists are. Yee makes so many awkward jokes that no one gets and then will ask a question at the worst time. Envy and Yee are both yes men.

CTG trolls the dudes he know he can troll. He knows when to act right (Gucci and Master P). Most of the time he does his homework though. In that Big Sean interview he knew that album line for line and it just dropped. Let's not forget how boring those interviews were when he was gone a few shows lol.

That's probably because he thought he could get some gossip regarding his ex from the lyrics.

But I wouldn't be surprised if he had a intern do it.

Either way, you can tell he listens to a lot of the artists or has given them a chance. He does seem to **** on a lot of the new rappers. Childish Gambino, Chance and so on.

Are you the one he hired to lighten his skin?

It's evident he doesn't listen, because he often ask questions that the person just referenced. Yee is quick to call him out on it.

I couldn't disagree with you more. He's the only one that ever asks questions about music. Envy will just sit there and laugh or ask a question that was already asked. The only time Envy will ask anything intelligent or worth asking is if it's an NY legend or a big rap star today. Yee will giggle, ask about love life and then make a joke that no one laughs at.

I dont blame him tho. These dudes music dont appeal to the breakfast club crowd.

Honestly charla will just play off the energy you give you. Like I said if you just go into the interview happy, friendly trying to have fun then it will go well but lot of people go in there on the defensive or pre annoyed for no reason

i feel like most guest that go up there know what it is and play along most of the time

they get annoyed when the hosts act flippant when they're trying to discuss their work

that would be annoying to anyone.

The Breakfast Club works best when they have a subject that's involved in gossip

all the time or a guest that can guide an interview in the right direction themselves.

That's a weakness on their part, they can't handle anything beyond the superficial and that was fine for a time

but they need some balance now

IMO it's their job to broaden everyones knowledge. Doing research or listening to your guest is your job. They can't listen to their upcoming guest album at the gym or driving on the way to work?

If you're going to have Logic, Chance or Krit on the show, have more than the same talking points you hear in every other interview or trying to belittle their career, because they aren't played on the radio every two hours.

Sooooooo
Dame said it's possible jay been snitchin
Kinda brings some truth to that black distribution

That dame interview was so lame man, dude has the mentality of a cocky 5 year old for real, so much for "i cant talk about another man".

I gotta watch that Dame video later. G Unit one was cool. 50 always has something worth hearing in his interviews.

"Yayo, why didn't you drop a second album" that **** was funny, then 50 broke down the contracts and money.
