Jordan Team 1 retro 2014

Just got the retro's in today :smokin

i hanged on to these since i got them a few months after they released around 97/98



A lot of NBA players wore these on the 97/98 season, but to me they will always be tony kucku's

I have worn mine several times, really like them. The "leather" is the status quo hard plastic material, but no complaints from me, love my pair.
 
I held the grey "barons" pair in hand today and tried on the blacks. They run bigger than I remember my OGs running, but I'd have to dig them out to be sure. As for the grey ones, I have to say, I was underwhelmed to be honest.
 
Not gone lie, worked out in mine to break em in, super comfortable, and not heavy at all, im a start hoopin in em monday. If you havent copped a pair idk what youre waitin on.
 
How is the forefoot cushioning? I've been looking for something with forefoot cushioning. Tried my 21 pe's the past 2 days and they seem no better than the adidas I had been using, even with the IPS bs

Oh, forgot to mention that the laces on the pair I tried on were super short. I only unlaced them a little to get my foot in and that made them not even long enough to reach the top eyelet. Anyone else encounter this? I tried a 13 which may explain some of it.

I have to say these are the most comfortable Jordan's I have ever owned. The zoom setup is great.
 
glad these are getting positive reviews... waiting on the UNC pair to go on super sale so I can hoop in them.
 
Anyone wearing these casually :nerd: ? They're one of my all time favorite shoes to hoop in but I refuse to ball anymore since seemingly every time I step on the court now I tear my meniscus :lol:

I wore them twice casually and the painted white midsole section is already cracking from the seam. I thought it might be the midsole separating from the upper but certain it's paint cracking. Not tripping to be honest, knew this would be expected with JB retro quality, or lack of. Gonna use them as beaters now.

That's all they are to me, hoopin kicks I never intended for these to be worn casually lol

this also happened with the OGs, but not after 2 casual wears. more like everyday for both casual and playing bball outdoors.

hopefully that doesn't happen with the white pairs. really looking forward to the white/royal for casual wear if they really release. Waiting it out for a price drop before I scoop either the black or the white/unc for the gym

I am heading down to Las Vegas in a few weeks (they dont have them locally - Canada), but I was surprised no stores on the strip seem to have these... at least not what online is telling me. Does anyone know any stores on the strip that currently have these?

When will the black/ white version release? It says mid April, well today is mid April! The carolina one is already out!

Think im gonna say F it and hoop in these today. They just feel heavy compared to playing in Kobe 8s and Hyperdunks all the time
