OFFICIAL OCTOBER '13 NIKE OUTLET/WEBSITE/STORE UPDATE THREAD - DO NOT MAKE REQUESTS

Nothing note worthy at the San Leandro, CA clearance store. At least in a size 10-11. There was a pair of size 11 sunset Air Max 95s that I tried on that was $79.99, but you can get that pricing with a coupon on any major online retailer now. However, all their accessories were 20% off and they had a ton of Nike Elite basketball and vapor (football as well as futbol, haha) socks for $9.99 plus 20% off. They ended up being $7.99/pr. Some Jordan game day socks in XL (black/blue, black/red) for $6.99 for those big footers.

So you Bay Area folk who need to stock up on Elite socks in basic colors, you can find a bunch here pretty cheap. Most of their stock consisted of the black/white and white/black Elite socks. There's no Kay Yows, PEs, or anything crazy though. It still beats the East Bay that's $30 for 3 pairs by a fair margin.
what will you say is cheap????

$9.99 plus 20% off... like he said right there...

Uh....well, elite socks are $14.99 retail. I'd say $7.99 plus tax per pair is pretty fair considering most brick & mortar stores rarely have them less than retail unless you randomly find a pair or two at Marshall's/Ross/TJMaxx.

I think the issue was that he didn't catch the price on them at first, not that he didn't consider $7.99 cheap.

As far as employees buying products before customers, at least in California, it's a no go. I have close friends that work at multiple outlets who were not able to secure themselves the fear IVs. I'm talking about seasoned employees too, like 5+ years working for Nike. I even know of one outlet releasing the Fear IVs on Saturday, that will not sell to their employees for the first 48hours.

Hope this clears up some of the "conspiracies" floating around.

Really the nike employess can't buy products before the customers? I clearly remember at the banned 1 (sorry for going a couple years back) release at the cabazon outlet. Myself and everyone waiting in line for the store to open watched the delivery truck drive up to the nike outlet receiving dock and they had the truck drivers drop off some shipments. As they got back in their cars they had their nike store bags with their banned 1 boxes in hand. Those rules recent?

7.99 is still cheaper than Ross/TJ Maxx/Marshalls, they have them for 9.99

Just got my pair from deer park. They had like 270 pairs total of both fears and glows. The line was DEEP. Some people left empty handed

Are you serious! 270 pairs and the line exceeded the supply, INSANE! Lol! Never thought I'd see the day outlets drew lines the likes of a concord release.

Yea! I was not expecting that.. But its the only outlet in NY that got anything, so all of long island and nyc was there..

Tanger outlets in Pittsburgh has the black grape at least 20 pairs left, limit 1 per person

Deer park is sold out of both pairs. They screwed up big time by miscounting fear pack 4. Manager was cool about it though. Let us cop extra pairs.
