NYC Sportbike "gang" vs. Alexian Lien Thread vol. Let's Try this Again.

I'm not in the business of running over someone on purpose. Hard to relate to cowards [emoji]128533[/emoji]

The man had his kid in the back right?

Dude obviously feared for his family's life, you got a kid? A wife?

If so, you'd do everything in your power to protect your family.

I wouldn't have knocked over a biker to put myself in that situation tho. I def wouldn't have my wife throwing plums and bottles at the riders to instigate it even further IF the initial incident was a true accident.

Bruh what are you eem talmbout! The situation was what it was before he ran the dude over, the bikers escalated the situation to the point that they left that man no choice but to floor it....how is he a coward?...because he didn't get out his car when they were vandalizing it and clearly being violent?...AIGHHHHT

The reaches I'm telling you...

You clearly don't even know the whole story.

Lien dialed 911 after witnessing the bikers nearly hit a lady carrying a baby.

They were out running red lights, popping wheelies, being extremely reckless, endangering the general public.

He wasn't the only person to call in.

They brake checked him, they hit his car first with their hands, his wife responded by throwing a water bottle and a half eaten plum.

Ol' girl had some moxie in her and wasn't having that nonsense.

Now was it the best decision on her part? No. But should people allow mob rule to have the day and let scofflaws walk all over them? Absolutely not. Especially not after witnessing an innocent mother and her child almost getting hit and potentially killed.

As a mother her self, Mrs. Lien was probably, profoundly affected by that scene.

From there the bikers turned into an angry, violent mob.

Really look at the facts, put yourself in the Lien's shoes, then assess the situation. I don't think you've done that to honestly be able to sit there to make character assessments against Alexian Lien.

*Dials 911*

*Tries to be a vigilant anyway*

Driver is the Asian George Zimmerman

All his lil scary *** had to do was slow down and let em pass through.

Wow........After that extreme I'm done bro....

They witness a mother and her BABY almost get hit by these dudes and you're comparing them to Zimmerman?

I honestly expected better of you bro....

:smh:

If you call the cops why the hell would you still try to be in the midst of the situation?

It's that simple but for some reason when a weapon (his car) is involved a ***** balls drop a lil lower.

There was no way out of that situation bro.

Either the Lien's sat back after witnessing someone almost get hurt or react.

I highly doubt there was much premeditation on the part of Mrs. Lien when she threw that plum and water bottle.

After seeing that lady and her baby almost get hit I could imagine it being a knee-jerk "stop what you're doing right now" type of reaction.

Problem with society, we allow mob rule to control everything.

We allow mobs of people to terrorize us, then we expect a mobs of cops to protect us, but when those cops fail we create mobs to voice our anger.

Mob rule.

Instead of regular everyday people like the Liens to standing up for themselves.

Maybe if more people were like the Liens we wouldn't need mobs.

Salute to Mrs. Lien, sounds like a ride or die (pun intended) chick.

What? If you're wearing a cut you are authentic. I don't understand your logic. If you're wearing a 1% cut then you sure as hell are validated.
Nobody is emulating anybody. People have been wearing cuts since the early years of Motorcycles, I know for a fact pre WWII.

All a cut is is your ID of who you belong to. It doesn't matter if it's a christian bike club or a 1% club. Yea, guess what, a lot of people on bikes are very similar. It's probably because similar people tend to like similar things.

Now if you wanna talk about 1% clubs, let me tell you this, it's less than 1% of bikers that are 1%ers. Especially with Harleys nowadays, Most people go out and buy a new Club Style FXD and swear they're bikers. What makes them posers is not knowing how to wrench on their bikes or really ride them, not the fact that they're not 1%ers. Club Style Dynas that are all show no go, that's poser, not them wearing cuts or being a part of a lame club.

Back to 1%ers, it's very rare to see them. They don't fly their colors like everybody thinks they do. Unless they're on Club business, they don't rock their cuts. You think you know what they're doing? Wrong, you don't now and you never will. I personally know a few 1%ers that haven't seen time inside and they'd like to keep it that way. Hell, most of the 1%ers I know live in some of the nicest neighborhoods in my area and have really good jobs.
What is "real" to you?

This dude missed the entire point.

Spittin' history like I need it.

Feel good? Got that out your system? Felt like you taught me something? Great.

Now go back and reread through my posts so you can understand what I'm saying.

When a person misses the point that badly I don't even know where to begin addressing you.

We're on two completely different wavelengths bro.

Also, when a club that's not in-fact a 1% club but tries to behave like one, but aren't willing to take on all the implications that come with actually being part of an OMG, they're posers.

Even "church" clubs or "native" clubs or "family clubs".

Because those dudes aren't rocking just simple cuts, no the've got something like a skull with pistols on it (Gunfigters MC, a former law enforcement MC in NY), or any of these other MCs that ride around trying to look hardcore, they're trying to emulate something that isn't really them.

What incentive is there for LE MCs in particular (law enforcement MCs) to almost all unanimously have cuts resembling OMG cuts?

What incentive is there for family MCs to have a cut with a menacing visage on it?

Riding around trying to look hard?

Fact is, much of biker culture is considered because of the criminal element associated with it. That criminal element is entirely the doing of actual OMGs.

So when we see a "benign" biker club or a group of sports bikers called the "Murdariders" or whatever, it's fakery.

As far as everything else you're spitting, IDK what to tell you. Somehow we got our signals crossed and you're talmbout some extra curricular stuff.

yea, idk. I guess I could have missed the point. Now that I think about it it's not too important to me anyways, yes I know, even after that long post. Too much birthday cake I guess :pimp:

Although if we're talking about authenticity, If it weren't for the Hells Angels, Harley Davidson wouldn't be around today.

Actually, I agree with you, most Harley riders are a bunch of posers.

The stupidity/trolling in this thread is crazy

If it's a matter of life or death, I'd have to say that most people in Lien's shoes would have done the same thing. When it comes to PROTECTING YOUR FAMILY, all bets are off.

Nah to the likes of Deuce King and Marcus and Ninjahood they would have gotten out the car and either fought all of them Matrix Reloaded steez or talked their way out of it

Legit when you have GWAP in here making all sorts of cents, it makes you wonder...maybe the bikers were all to blame

Not everyone is scared or hits the panic button in certain situations. Like I said, me personally I would have tried to talk my way out of it or just not have gotten mad about being brake checked like this banker did, it's simply not worth it.

LOL at that being a life and death situation before he ran over the bikers
.

You're moving the goalposts...

How was it not a life or death situation? Bikers were clearly pissed at Lien when they tried to slow him down on the highway. You got 50+ bikers around/near your whip, and you're telling me any driver is thinking rationally about having a calm conversation to defuse the situation? Doesn't matter if you are riding solo or have your family in the car...you're trying ANYTHING to see the next day.

Life or death situation....really champ? What were the bikers going to do from OUTSIDE Lien's car....stare him and his family to death with their eyes. I still see it as Lien escalating the situation by far. Personally I wouldn't panic like Lien did unless I see a weapon. All that.."maybe this could have happened "...or "the bikers looked like they were about to" talk is irrelevant to me.

I think it's gonna be very hard to find someone that rides a bike to feel any sympathy. It's two completely different worlds for those that drive and those that ride. On a daily basis I have cars come way too close to hitting me because they're texting, talking or just not looking. I've also had cars intentionally try to hit me which is disgusting.

Lien should have pulled over and waited or went a different route. Guy was irritated by the traffic and probably in a rush, felt like he was in an SUV so he was safe. Started honking, speeding, wife throwing **** at bikes and who knows what else. Thought he could do what he wanted and be safe. Sucks it got this ugly.

Dudes reasoning is hey we all speed so why you mad at bikers speeding, swerving and stopping the law

Hey we all break the law so how hypocritical of you for not advocating others break the law

Be serious champ, Lien got pulled out of his vehicle AFTER he intentionally ran over one of the bikers. Had he not ran over the bikers I don't think they would have pulled him out of his vehicle when the first brake check occurred.

And had they not surrounded him on the middle of the highway, force him to stop and approached his vehicle there would be no one to run over

Had his wife not thrown a plum at a biker, there wouldn't have been an issue. Had he just pulled over and relaxed instead of getting upset that a group of bikes were slowing him down, there wouldn't have been an issue.

You throw a plum at a car, what happens? Nothing, a dent if you throw it hard enough. You throw a plum at a biker, you can throw off his balance and make him crash. You could hit his chain or he could run over it and fall. As soon as she throws that plum, she's putting a biker's life at risk. Both parties deserve blame but you can't throw plums and water bottles at person on a bike and think that's fine.

And had they not surrounded him on the middle of the highway, force him to stop and approached his vehicle there would be no one to run over

..and had Lien just simply slowed down and give the bikers space none of this what have happened. See I can play that game too champ.
