Don't forget, before Russ started getting injured, he never missed a game. Literally
I had the thought before he went down, but Russ is just built differently than everyone else. When he has been injured, his recovery time has been quicker than expected, and he hasn't looked like he lost a step. He's just a special athlete like that. I'm not worried about him long-term.
It's crazy. I'm watching this dude fly all over the court, doing reverse dunks and I'm thinking "Didn't he just have another knee surgery??".

Carmelo is shooting better from 3, Shooting a little better from the line, one more rebound, roughly the same assists, steals, and blocks per 36. His assist rate is 1% higher, usage rate lower.. and his PER is about the same as last year.
Nothing about his numbers from last year compared to this year scream "contract year" to me. He's having a great year, but not a significantly better one numbers wise from their great season the year before.
And as mentioned, short of having a severe injury or off the court issues, Melo is and was getting the max this offseason regardless of his play this year.

Yea not putting MJ or Nique over him, also putting MJ before Nique. Toronto/Early NJ Vince was the best in game dunker ever. Still can't believe Mourning is still on this planet after what Vince did to him.

Again you're trying too hard to sound cool. Rose has accomplished nothing but a give away MVP, the hell are you throwing kobe and MJ in the mix for?
Rose is a bust, with Bynum knees, that'll never be the same again, Westbrook is still playing, has already been to a finals and has a good chance to go again. The next time rose is mentioned along side of Russell make sure he's actually playing.
