Hardly. People been claiming forever that Russ was holding KD and the Thunder back, until Patrick Beverly struck and OKC barely beat the Rockets and looked miserable against the Grizzlies, and everyone except KD, Fisher, and Jackson looked like they had never touched a basketball before. Even the first 2 games of the season, KD was shooting 31%, last night he had 33 on 19 shots. KD and IBaka both scored over half their fgs off WB assists.

I don't think that answered my question.

I'd take the Thunder minus KD over minus Westbrook but either way, it's probably a first rd team at best unless in your hypothetical I get to replace KD with another max player

Whoever I quoted said Dwight put L.A.in a hole, I disputed it, and you added absolutely nothing to the conversation. Pat yourself on the back for trying.

All up did was state a fact we all know..., good job for that.

Doesn't matter how he left it's the fact that he left. Lebron dug a hole for the cavs, ray PP and Garnett dug a hole for bos, harden for OKC... Ect. Their reason for leaving is irrelevant. The fact that they're no longer there impacted the team in a negative way thus "dug them a hole".

Now pull your panties out your crack, not that complicated ....

now you're just spewing garbage. Harden dug a hole for OKC? How does a player dig a hole for an organization that traded him away?

Saying the player did it, implies fault on the player which is stupid. Unless a guy won't waive a no trade clause, I'm not trying to hear that nonsense

Didn't LA trade their 2014 first round pick?

2014 is the only one weve had for like 5 years, and the only one we'll have for the next 5 years

Mitch knows...

Mitch gon Mitch. :smokin

99% of the time on this board when someone talks about KD and Russ...it's always how much KD needs Russ.

Where would Russell Westbrook be leading OKC if KD weren't around?

We wouldnt know until kd goes down or russ gets his own team

It's a figure of speech, my lord are you really this simple? How do you conduct simple conversations in real life??

"Dug a hole" = left leaving a deficit for the previous team, left making the team worse....

Without KD, Westbrook putting up '02-'03 Kobe numbers.

BTW

Kobe was untouchable that year, that was my favorite Kobe year.

Torching cats in the PE 8s and Huaraches :pimp:

Hype: Why are the Wiz 0-3?

Was discussing this with a coworker from DC today.

I urge you and everybody else that thought they'd be the breakout team of the year to take a quick glance at their roster. It is dreadful outside of Wall, Beal, Gortat and Nene. Dreadful.

There was people claiming they could be a 6 seed this year. All because they played .500 ball for half a season when John Wall came back.

I know it ain't the fantasy thread, but do you guys think Robin Lopez will get any better?

I'd like to hear from Portland fans, or anyone who watch them on the regular...:nerd:

Buc Em: I don't find Ariza, Booker, Porter, Seraphin to be dreadful. That's just off the top. I'll take a closer look.

WAS is like a collection of all left shoes. Don't matter how good they look alone, you just can't do anything with them together

It would probably serve you well to attempt to dig up some old posts so you can have some semblance of facts. Can't speak for anybody else, but other than cracking painfull easy baby mama jokes (which I'm sure still applies now), I've never had a problem with Dwight. I also didn't shake in fear when he went to LA like they'd go 72-10 cause that was still a bad roster even before the injuries came up. Nothing at all made me think they'd be a championship team, and apparently, even Howard knew that.

One thing I found hilarious was when a story sort of broke that there was a 50-50 chance Howard would resign with the Lakers, I saw all these loser backtracking as if they weren't trashing him just two minutes ago. Talk about hypocrites. Cali is the acting capital and that's what the majority of that fan base does. Lanes are still mad using that Lebron-hate carry over logic, just cause someone recognized a young ascending who he could add some possible title contention to, instead of slumming it up with some old battered and bitter teammates. All that "he wasn't really a Laker player anyway", please. Nothing but a bunch of copputs and excuses over there. Bless daddy Buss' soul, but he's not the one in charge of swindling good players from desperate teams in exchange for their own piece of shot players anymore. Have fun taking care of those cycles.

I never hated the guy in L.A. or Orlando. I don't indiscriminately hate players. I actually supported him in Orlando. And despite how people felt about him last year, I thought he was still clearly one of the best big men in the league. Don't paint broad strokes when you don't have a clue what you're talking about
