Boozer is absolutely infuriating to watch. I was getting pissed at him and he's obviously not on my squad, so I can only imagine how you Bulls fans must curse him out on the daily.
But according to @sea manup he's a legit go-to scorer for the Bulls. Boozer should get a bulk of the crunch time touches, he says

because what they are currently doing is CLEARLY working

as i have said, most overrated coach in the league

makes less adjustments over the course of a playoff series than dantoni in that one game vs the cavs where he had 4 players

its okay though, hes just the media's coach right now. give it a few years and everyone will be talking about how thibs is trash

Isn't Zbo still getting paid by another team bhzmafia14 bhzmafia14 or something to that extent?

I could've sworn you or someone post an article that said that.

Yea, he's still getting paid by Portland. He set his contract up with Portland to where he would receive a portion of his money (about $5M a year) in between the 2012-16 season or something like that. This is another reason why he should be more than willing to take a huge paycut in Memphis. He also has about $3M a year reserved on his current Memphis contract.

Grizz would be in a much better position right now if they just kept Calderon from that Rudy Gay trade instead of moving him for Prince. A lot of people were so sure that Memphis needed Prince to guard the likes of Durant and possibly Lebron, when the Grizz had Tony Allen. :rolleyes If the Grizz kept Calderon last year, their offense may have ran a little smoother off the bench and they wouldn't be handicapped by $7M from Prince.

people actually care about the 6th man of the year award?

only awards that are semi notable are mvp and dpoy

Meh, if you dont have the players, of course your gonna struggle to score. The bulls not being able to score has a lot more to do with the roster than the coach. However he does run his players to the ground though.

there is no reason for a "top coach" to run the worst offense in the league

he doesnt have drose but its not like anyone expects the bulls to win a championship here, the guy cant even get out of the first round of the weak eastern conference

If you don't think that Thibs did a masterful job coaching this year, then I don't know what to tell you. If you were running the Bulls and you fired him because you were foolish enough to question his coaching acumen, he'd have no shortage of suitors for his services around the league.

Bruh....LOOK WHO HE'S BEING ASKED TO SCORE WITH

Like, what did you expect? He was given DJ Augustine as a primary scorer for christ sake. So he runs the worst offense in the L...you don't see the correlation between DJ augustine as a go to guy and the worst offense in the league?

so playing starters 50 minutes a game to make the playoffs in the east and lose 4-1 to a lower seed is what we are calling masterful coaching these days?

oh right he had the players playing hard and hustling! look at him getting a bunch of defensive specialists (apparently thats what they are since none of them know how to score) to play defense! something somthing about noah and how he has a good relationship with the coach. something something about thibs is good because he won a ring as an assistant coach. something something about having a roster of 15 nba players that have played basketball their entire lives but somehow only dj augustine knows how to score.

did i miss anything?

Damn I actually thought thibs did a good job this year. He got the team to play well again without their star player and finished 4th in their conference. You can't really expect anymore than that from a team with a lot limitations.

they traded or didnt resign any of their offensive talents and gave those roster spots to MORE DEFENDERS

watch them trade dj augustine for pat bev this offseason and cry at the end of next year about how they dont have any good scorers

Who was supposed to score on that roster? Seriously?

The criticism of thibs just proves how insignificant coaching is in the league. When you have the best, most elite players you win. When you don't, you lose.
