Westbrook gets harsh criticism because of his entire approach as a point guard who is #2 in scoring ability on his team. Curry is a wet shooter and scorer that generally gets good looks. Curry is also the best player on his team, so he should be taking shots. RWB has an elite scorer alongside him. Things should be a lot easier for him as the point guard, but they arent because of his style of play.

People get up in arms that he gets criticism for the things he does wrong, when 99% of the people who criticize him will always commend him for what he does right. The dude is an elite talent. He just needs to put it together properly. and seeing him be able to control his pace for 1 game and get really good results makes it that much more of a headache that he can't change his approach altogether.

And last night he did a lot better, but still by far not where he needs to be. If KD is shooting lower to mid 20s in shot attempts, RWB should be in the mid to high teens. Dude was 9/21. That's NOT good for a point guard. Again, his pace was a lot better, but he still has work to do.

KD has been getting pushed out of position the entire series he can't take every single shot man, Westbrook is the second option 20 shots isn't bad when your remaining line up consist of someone who is useless on offense, A spot up shooter, & a bigger spot up shooter. Their are two guys on that lineup who can create shots, who would you rather those attempts go to.

KD isn't Kobe it's not in him to constantly take 30 shots he passes & Westbrook is also a great scorer.

Under no circumstances should Westbrook be taking more shots than KD (ie 7 more shots in Game 5)....EVER.
