Real fun matchup last night with 2 of the best PF's in the game. Really good showcase of their strengths and weaknesses.

On another note...how great has Brad Stevens been so far in Boston? He's got these guys overachieving. They're going to be real interesting to watch once Rondo comes back.
Cannot wait for Rondo to return. I just hope he isn't unmotivated by the lack of talent.

If Hayward were to somehow not stay in Utah, Boston would be my favorite landing spot for him besides New Orleans (assuming Rondo re-signed).

Rondo, Hayward, Olynyk and Green. :smokin

Like Faverani, too.

 And free my mans jimmer.

Anyone think the Knicks should just let Melo walk and make a play for a young free agent, begin the rebuilding process?

You can't win with Melo on your team..

Or maybe they need a coach that can get through to Melo
You can certainly win with melo on the team. 09 Nuggets were two inbounds passes away from a finals birth. Much like Dirk, Melo needs the right team tailored to his strengths and weaknesses.

Nah Dwight is nice. But he isn't a superstar. Give me DMC instead. Need easy buckets and unstoppable moves. Some players players are so talented that there is no such thing as defense on them. Give me that.

We don't want Hayward. Keep him in Utah. We need beal and Jabari Parker.

What is his strength?

And how can you build a successful team around him when all he does is hold the ball? Just surround your team with rebounders?

Dirk 100x better as a leader, more efficient, plus makes the players around him better and plays in the flow of offense. Different class of player.

Lol comparing dirk to Melo.

K Love will never go to Nyk to play with Melo, JR an Felton. Stop the nonsense.

He has Rubio. That's all he needs with a scoring 2 guard. They just need a better bench and they are up there to compete for chip.

Melo the worst teammate. ISO all day. Jr jack up dumb shots and same with Felton.

YOLO

even if it was against my squad i liked seeing him cook in person

Kyrie gotta get his **** together man.. Shooting like Waiters :smh:

waiters is the only reason they were in the g last night
dude was goin

Felt good watching Bynum do his thing, I honestly believe he can go back to his old form/ways. Slowly, but surely...

And Waiters looking like a true SG out there. Loving my young bull's game right now.

Blake has to be only player overrated everywhere else but underrated on NT.

.........ummmm, have you ever read posts in the National Basketball Association Thread on Niketalk? This is the very last place he is considered underrated

And teams should know all you have to do is double Bynum and he'll be completely neutralized. Boozer should just slid over and Bynum's head would've exploded.

Sorry bro.

What Boston doing is exactly why I don't understand why Memphis decided to keep the same old players, but hire a young rookie head coach. The team is not responding well to him at all. The front office is looking to go away from the "Grit N' Grind", so hopefully this means establishing a more balanced team and adding a star through the draft. This is the FIRST season in the last 3 years where I feel like this team is not a contender. :smh:

This current roster is made to win games the hard way  . I'll rather just blow it up as quickly as possible this year (while keeping Conley and Gasol), get a top pick and be right back in the hunt next year while adding additional pieces that fit the new vision via free agency.

The Knicks...

Within the Knicks coaching staff, they believe Chris Smith doesn't even have the talent to be an NBA Development League player – never mind worthy of a roster spot. One opposing GM called him "maybe the worst player in the history of the [NBA] summer league."

Perhaps that's harsh, but the Knicks need to sign a big man in the wake of Tyson Chandler's fractured leg, and Chris Smith's roster spot creates an obstacle.

In the end, the Knicks give Anthony everything he wants, including the recent hiring of his personal trainer, Idan Ravin. There is a complete disconnect between Ravin and the Knicks' coaching staff, who have little use for him, sources said.

Knicks' dysfunction turns to fantasy: N.Y. already dreaming of Kevin Love in 2015

"The worst player in the history of the Summer League"

I hope he makes a team and cooks the Knicks.
