Rudy Gay along with Joe Johnson are probably two of the top 5 most clutch players in the league though, for what it's worth.

Joe Johnson is also bad the first 45 minutes.  Unlike Rudy though he's just invisible, not hugely negative.

Rudy is a homeless man's Joe Johnson.  Who can't shoot jumpers.

I dunno, on a team where John Salmons and Patrick Patterson are averaging a total of 50 mpg and shooting 35% and 40% from the field respectively....

I don't see how Gay is gonna be that much worse than those two   

Yeah that's true Salmons is buns but Rudy ain't shooting a pretty % either. He's gonna be great some nights, and really poor the other nights. The plus side to Rudy is that he's actually hit a few clutch shots this year at the end of games.

I cant wait to hear Bill Simmons' comments on this trade.

He called this months ago. Not Rudy Gay specifically, but the new Kings owner wanting to make a splash.

I know which why I want to hear him speak. 

I said it like two months ago, if we lived in a world where every crazy Bill Simmons trade happens the league would be amazing.

We should compile Rudys Raptors Averages and see if they get any better.

I see a lot of Sac fans excited that Thomas is "finally" starting... But he was always better suited as a bench scorer. Even moreso now with Rudy on the court

Closest cat is obviously Paul George... but he's not that close. LeBron's efficiency this year is absolutely incredible. Seems like every game dude is 9-12 and 3-4 from 3
