Y'all acting like Bass ain't a player though. He hits that wing jumper consistently, is great for spacing and can rebound so Dwight can rim run in transition.

Lee is another good 10-15 minute guard for fresh legs who won't mess up.

Green is too much to give IMO, I wouldn't put it past Morey but still that would be a steal even for him

^lebron is the most complete offensive player. melo may be better scorer, but bron's passing, iq, and feel for the game is better. im not even a bron fan, but he is better than melo offensively when you factor those aspects.
melo is very good, but he isnt an all time great. nice to have a scoring patch but my man jerry stackhouse could score with the best of them as well. more to the gm that just getting pts, you got to be able to lead and make players around you better.

melo is the victim of a poorly organised team that its players dont know their roles.its melo and 4 wannabe melos(smith,bargnani,hardaway,felton).even kobe in his prime would look crap in this knick squad.melo would be a beast if knicks had a PG like rondo or cp3 that sacrifice scoring for orchistrating the offense , a PF like david west that is a great scorer but not a ballhog and that wont let them enemy team 2 man melo because west got mid range shot and can score.

they are both better ALL AROUND basketball players than Carmelo Anthony again you notice the only thing you can bring up as a plus for dude is his scoring and volume scoring at that

no doubt he is so good at what he is that if the rest of your team is based in players with great defensive abilities and just be able to hit their mid range jumpers ( +1 6th man as scorer from the bench when melo is out ) that team can do miracles.knicks dont even have 1 person that is pure defensive player except chandler and you see what happens when his is missing and when he is is in the court
 
Pretty sure that was his point that Green's name wasn't in there, but it was there in the first Boston/Houston trade talks.

yes he is and from the most skilled.name me many other sf/pfs that could score off the dribble by driving to the paint could post up could hit contested 3s and with every possible way.

It's not NBA2K. It doesn't matter how many points you have in each skill if you can't produce results.

No one cares if Melo can shoot 3s, post up , and shoot mid range.... He still has a career playoff FG% of like 41%.
 
Wow... Man if LeBron wanted the Scoring Title, he could TAKE IT from anyone. Average like 35 PPG while shooting 44%. His ability as a scorer is always downplayed because he does so many other things well, but year after year hes putting up 26PPG while only raising his percentages. He knows it and we all know it.

Not to mention offense does not revolve around only scoring the basketball. LeBron James is flat out a better offensive player than Carmelo Anthony.

Tjones has been playing way better than Bass, not to mention Tjones is in the western conference. Having Bass wouldn't be an upgrade tbh

That makes no sense.

Anyways...that Bass, Lee and 1st rounder deal is probably the best they're gonna get unless in a three team deal they can get Thad. Hawks aren't giving up Milsap in a deal for him. The Rockets are better off making a deal quickly so they actually have another big that's going to get out there and play for them.

All of this.

Not 100% sure, but I think Lebron made mention of this (in regards to scoring over 35ppg).

Melo is GREAT at scoring, but I'm tired of the "best scorer" in the league BS, because there are a few other guys who I feel do it better, and with more efficiency.
