In the 2 games they played this year Indy won by a combined 47 points and Wall shot 4-14 and 4-15 so I'm gonna go ahead and say Indy has an answer.

I wouldn't even care if the Wizards beat the Pacers 10 times in the regular season by 100 points each time with Wall, Beal and Gortat injured, I would still bet a considerable amount of money that the Pacers would take them in a playoff series

Yea, its going to be a hard couple of weeks without Conley, but at least the schedule is much softer. I actually expect him to be back in 4-5 games with the right kind of treatment.

Article about Durant's defense by Sam Amico:

Durant's defense.

"Uh, I mean he's more comfortable playing on that side of the floor," James said when asked how Durant's defense compared in relation to the high standards he had set at the small forward position. "I think for them to win, and (forward Serge) Ibaka definitely helps that, and you understand that in order for them to win they have to defend, and it starts with Ibaka and with KD and with (Russell) Westbrook as well. But I don't know. I don't like to talk about defensive players. ... That side of the floor is where I really take a lot of responsibility in and I don't like to do too much comparing when it comes to defense."

Things that make you go hmmm.

So we delve deeper into this question of whether or not Durant should officially be deemed a high-level defender.

What say you, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra?

"He's a multipositional defender now, impacting the game on both sides of the court," Spoelstra said. "Somebody of his length and knowledge and experience, it was a matter of time."

But it's the defensive side of the ball where the James-Durant debate is more interesting than ever this season. Because James has been widely regarded as the best perimeter defender in the game for quite some time now, the question of whether Durant could ever surpass him in the MVP race was often tied to the question of whether Durant could ever be considered a two-way player himself. The answer, until recently, was a resounding no.

Yet whether James is in the mood to debate the matter or not, things have most certainly changed on that front. And the fact that their respective defensive reputations are going in opposite directions means that this is an MVP subplot worth paying close attention to.

James finished 12 of 20 from the field in the Thunder's dominating win on Wednesday, with 34 points in all to go with three rebounds and three assists. But he was just two of seven from the floor when Durant was on duty...

No one is saying that James is in danger of being surpassed by Durant as a defender, of course, but the mere fact that the Thunder star has evolved so drastically on that end of the floor is a potential game-changer when it comes to MVP voting. Let it be known, in other words, Durant can defend.

I'm not sure how credible the NY Daily News is, but:
Veteran Luol Deng not happy about being traded into mess that is Cleveland Cavaliers

It’s been a true culture shock for Luol Deng since he’s been a Cleveland Cavalier over the past 26 days. Not in a good way, either.

Deng has seen how a team mired in losing since LeBron James left town wrongly caters to its young star players, even as they continue to undermine head coach Mike Brown at almost every turn. In Chicago, where Deng broke in and played nine-plus seasons, there is a winning culture where players are expected to act like professionals and understand that they will suffer the consequences if they step out of line.

As Deng recently told one close friend, “the stuff going on in practice would never be tolerated by the coaching staff or the front office back in Chicago. It’s a mess."

Deng was brought in to help clean it up when he arrived in a deal for Andrew Bynum on Jan. 7. But since then, he’s seen players get thrown out of practice, take off their uniform tops at halftime and threaten not to play, mouth off to Brown and generally act like spoiled brats. Entering Saturday’s game at Houston, the Cavs had lost seven of their last 11 games since the Deng trade.

There is no accountability, as Dion Waiters found out when he was kicked out of practice last week but still got his usual minutes against the Knicks. Brown isn’t getting much help from GM Chris Grant, who is expected to be fired at season’s end because of the losing and problems in the locker room.

The Cavs were supposed to challenge for a playoff spot, but not to worry. All the losing isn’t keeping them from having a good time. During their trip to New York, several players enjoyed themselves immensely the night before the game against the Knicks, partying into the wee hours with J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert and 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick, and other NFL players. Their late-night/early morning carousing played a factor when they didn’t even try in their blow-out loss to the Knicks.

Yikes.
