Based on those Nets/Heat posts from a handful of pages back, ditto I don't really see how the hate batteries can recharge for round 4 (heat losing to the mavs included). Does Bonner not get fined for wearing those white and navy New Balances with black unis? He has been doing it since he came to the Spurs. Everyone else has on black shoes, but he's notoriously cheap (he drives a Pontiac Grand Prix and collects Subway coupons) so he kept those P.E colorways from when he was a Bobcat. If he was getting fined it would negate the $60 savings though, plus I assume New Balance sends him those free anyways.

The league got lax with their sneaker rules like 3-4 years ago. That's why you see more monotone colors (red, blue, etc) than back then.

And the NBs Bonner's been wearing are the last pair he has.

If teams are tanking the players won't know unless they start getting benched. These players careers are on the line with one bad season on a bad team in which they are already getting overlooked.
