Certifiedflyboi is the Clippers troll from hell.

He said "Quake" is winning MVP this year, and Deandre Jordan is winning MIP and DPOY

Harden hit the series swinging game winner on the road over Kawhi Leonard. Y'all musta forgot. He gave Kobe and every other sg the business that yr, the fact he came into the game 6 minutes later is irrelevant. He finished and that's what mattered

how is hardens play more than a year ago on okc correlate to todays ranking? that ship has sailed.

If we are solely talking about this year, I could easily make the case that I would rather have:

Dwight, Steph, Bron, Wade, Steph, Rose, Russ, Dirk, Love, Melo, CP3, K.Love, P.George, T.Duncan than Harden. I just don't like wing defenders who are sieve's like Harden. Sure, he's the best SG in the league but that's the weakest position at the moment in the league imo. Not saying he's not an All-NBA caliber guy or elite, I just don't think he's a top 5 guy when it comes down to it. My opinion though.

in the same breath, i could probably make an argument for harden over everyone except bron/kd/cp3. it might not be the best argument, but i could make one. that's why i don't have an issue with the ranking.

I think we're all just splitting hairs at this point.

Once you get past the holy trinity of LeBron, Durant and Paul, it's really a toss up of the next 5-8 players.
Exactly.

You forgot about Gasol who was listed ahead of 90% of that list tho!

Honestly, P is right. After Lebron, Durant and Paul, the rest really don't matter. The drop off from Lebron to Durant/Paul is crazy. For all we know, Rose will play his way right back into that #4 spot and possibly the #2 or #3 spot this year. I think people are going to train their minds to think no one can become better than Durant, though. Rose probably has the best chance.

...no.

I mean, obviously, its superfluous past that point (really I'd even say the chasm between everybody after Durant/Bron is so great, I don't put CP3 in the same category) it's all splitting hairs.

And Dirk is primed for a huge season but I'm schleep

lulz paul is not even better than parker.

I swear, Basketball has some of the biggest hypocrites ever lol. Making it as the 8th seed, and shooting 43% 37& and 85% makes you the 4th best player in the leauge. Harden LIVES off of free throws, and when that doesent happen, IE plaoffs, he becomes an ineficient turnover machine. His efficiency is driven by his 10fta a game. He is a good passer though.

He's also a below average defender. Reminds me of a 6'8 scoring small forward, who shoots around 45% who had a tough time getting out the first round without help, but i doubt many on hear would consider im the 4th best player in the league lol.

taking a lottery team to the playoffs in the western conference your first year as a starter at 23 is an accomplishment

also it was hardens first playoff series as a #1 against a team that knows his strengths and weaknesses better than anybody else, and why are you comparing him to melo based off of one playoff series as a starter, i hope you didnt expect them to beat okc the way kd was playing

I Think you are forgetting about a healthy Dwight Howard. Thats a 23 & 14 guy on a contender when healthy.

That's all good and dandy, but does that warrant being the 4th best player in the League? Surely the 4th best player in the leauge can shoot over 40% in a playoff series.

Dwight absolutely would be in that 3-4 range, if healthy.

Bron-Durant then Dwight and Paul, with Rose, Steph, and healthy Russ the next tier.

The Steph like jump, could be George if he becomes what everyone expects. But that's 82 games + playoffs. Has to be all year.

105 times out of 100 I would take Kyrie.

And TP is the only Spur I've ever backed. But he's not top 10 or anything league wise.
