yeah but the primary ball handler in pretty much every championship team since the 80s has been a score first guy, from mj to kobe to lebron. even tp is more of a scorer while he does get his assists

Yes I agree but my point was more about the physical stature of the primary scorer.

As far as TP goes they still ran the offense through Tim Duncan for most of the Spurs' run. Lakers also ran the O through Shaq, as they should have. Mavs ran it through Dirk.

What I'm saying is- feed the damn big men! Especially if you have a good one.

Nah cp3 can put up 20 & 10 every night if he really wanted to but instead he treats blake as the #1 option some games, theirs no reason cp3 shouldnt of been eating off of chalmers,

Nah he just can't. Not against the good/elite teams no he can't. His efficiency would go out the window even trying to.

oh yeah i agree. but personally i would never build around a player shorter than 6-4, it never ends up well

did you not watch the playoffs last yr, or the first 2 games of the season? Ibaka going from most proficient mid range shooting in the entire NBA to 31% from the midrange not ring a bell? KD going from 50/40/90 to a low % volume shooter? Look ak KD's %s in the 2 games with Westbrook versus without.

More simple than shot creation, you can just look at %assisted of KD and IBaka last season

Kd was still rather efficient and averaged 31-8-6 on 574 ts% and .500 eFG%....
not as much so as the regular season and besides, he is superhuman in that regard anyways. Everybody else, SIGNIFICANTLY inferior performances without him on the court.

After missing the first two games of the 2013-14 season recovering from a knee injury, Russell Westbr
ook returned to the court for the Thunder’s home opener versus the Phoenix Suns on Nov. 3. Prior to Westbrook’s return, the Thunder went 1-1 in two games while averaging 91.0
points on 37.8% shooting. In two games with Westbrook in the lineup, Oklahoma City has gone 2-0 while
averaging 105.0 points on 48.4% shooting. In two games without Westbrook, Oklahoma City recorded
25 assists and in two games with Westbrook, the Thunder registered 48 assists.
