NFL Week 8 In Review...

solid win for my Pats . Tom played horribly in the 1st half , but all units bounced back in the 2nd . Stat of the day -- 0 TDs in the 3rd quarter through our first 7 games and scored 2 TDs in a 102 second span  :smh:

Devin McCourty is playing at an elite level right now ; top 10 safety in the league

NFC East is looking shaky baby

what a comeback for the Lions . the whole time Stafford was running up to the line signaling for a spike i was shouting at the bar "he better do a QB sneak and catch em off guard"

are the Jets frauds or are the Bengals the real deal ? i think the game signified both

D. Hall :smokin RGIII :smh:

all week people were talking about how insane the line was for the Falcons vs. Cardinals game . Vegas knows  :nerd:

- Decent win, the main thing I took away from that game is the Eagles are garbage just like us

- The Cowboys doing what the Cowboys do. Same ****, different year.
Dez might be the only one on that roster with some heart. How do you not have him on the field for that 3rd down? That team is comedy.

- Calvin Johnson is coming for the crown. Sorry Jerry.

- The roller coaster that is Geno Smith.

- Surprised at how bad the Falcons played yesterday :x

DJ, did AJ Green die? When did Dez clearly become the 2nd best receiver in the game?

-Megatron,

One of those performances that will be remembered forever.

- Please get AP out of Minnesota.

- Denver bounced back nicely from an unimpressive first half.

-TP2

Didn't look as good passing the ball yesterday, but still able to get the W.

- Scary to see the Steelers with potentially a top 10 pick. Last time that happened it ended up being Big Ben, right?

Bengals

- I don't know what's happened with Andy Dalton over the last few weeks, but I hope that he keeps it up. Team is scary with him playing this well.

- Finally have a #2 receiver in Marvin Jones. Thanks New England, got that extra 5th round pick to grab him in the Ocho Cinco trade.

- Defense looked great. Pressure on the QB, and shut down the running game.

- Looking forward to see how we look on a short week. Hate those Thursday night games.

This

Calm down with the Cam is under rated talk. We know he has the skill set...but he has looked good against these teams

they have beating the Bucs Rams Giants and Vikes

They lost to Seattle, Arizona and Buffalo

Lets see how they look against the 9ers Pats and Saints

this is how i know yall just look at stat sheets. Cam played good football against the Bills and Seahawks. just couldnt pull out the W, ill admit he played good the 1st half of the AZ game and completely stunk it up in the 2nd.

"they wont let the Gawd live" :smh:

Alright, I get that Dez has heart... but this is a weekly thing.

And I do feel he's better than AJ Green. *shrug*

Jets got molly whopped :smh: . Probably the first time I shut a game by the 3rd quarter. Couldn't stand to watch us get outplayed in all phases of the ball.

-Geno with 2 Pick-6s :x . Kid stares down receivers way too often where it gives defenders a clear path to the ball to be able to pick him off the way they have.
-Our D deserves no praise IMO. Our D-Line is solid, but the secondary is really thin and weak. Cro is always due for a DPI, that's just how it goes. I expect at least one out of him every game.
-Dee Milliner is a clueless rookie out there. A #9 draft pick should be an immediate impact on a team. He's getting targeted and beat every time he sees the field. I never see him turn around on the ball; he's always playing the receiver who winds up making the catch and is steps ahead of him anyway.

If the pattern continues, we'll beat the Saints next week  . I don't see that happening though. If Dalton (not discrediting him), picked us apart, I can imagine what Brees is gong to do.

Giants Red zone offense is still a problem

But at least were still kind of It,

Jon Beason was an excellent addition, he's brought Leadership and energy to the Linebacking Core, that we haven't had since Pierce.

Mike Vick looks done.

Rest of the League:

Went to work thinking the Cowboys had won

Calvin is leaving his mark on the NFL

KC vs Den looming

What the hell happened to the Jets?

Cincy bout to run away with that Division.

Texans
- bye week, can finally not lose

Seahawks
- ready for a MNF beat down on the Rams

The League
- Calvin Johnson is a monster, and Stafford has a boatload of heart
- I penciled in the Cowboys victory at one point cause I didn't think Romo could possibly mess it up, but his defense did it for him. Shouldve known not to change my tune with them in the clutch. Once again, everybody knows how this movie will end, and yet people will still act surprised. LOL.
- As long as the Bengals don't have to face the Texans in the divisional round, they should be fine. The defense is looking great, and Dalton balled, combined with the Jets weeklong hangover. Dalton's week to week play confuses me, cause he'll either be Brady, or Brooks Bollinger.
- Vikings stink, free AP
- Jordy Nelson :pimp:
- Ill repeat again, the fix is in for RG3, and Shanahan will still have that stupid look on his face while he gets his QB killed
- Saints biggest offseason addition, their coach.
- Atlanta nosedive continues, free Tony G
- Aaron Rodgers is a great QB. Ponder stinks.
- Ryan Clark look like a dope on that Pryor td

stupid megatron. got tackled at the 1 yd line two times. if he woulda scored I woulda got an extra 12 fantasy points (he always got knocked out at the 4 yd line on a different possession, but did end up scoring on that drive anyway). absolute monster though.

Stafford with the real ballsy play to win the game.

steelers suck. can't believe I was able to watch the whole game.

the cowboys lose and ONCE AGAIN most of their fans are more concerned about how terrible rg3 played in a completely separate game. they are infatuated with rg3, but hate the fact that he plays for their division rival.

--49ers taking care of business overseas.

--Complete meltdown by the Cowboys, just awful.

--Anybody can win the NFC East except for the Eagles.

--Might be time for the Diplomats to give Kirk Cousins a go at it.

--The Steelers are just falling apart.

--What a difference a year makes for the Falcons, completely washed up.
-I'm back now and 11-5 is still a possibility. Especially after the W we are about to get. This one is gonna put us over the top. -JAYFIEND

Back to the drawing board for you champ.

--Tom Brady Pass Interference[emoji]8482[/emoji] changed the entire Dolphins/Pats game.

--Packers look legit when they aren't playing the 49ers.

--Kansas City has beaten Case Keenum and Jason Campbell by a combined 7 points the last two weeks. They have another freebie this weekend, then a bye. After that, we'll finally see them get tested.

--Said it in the NFL post: Calvin Johnson has more 300 yard games than Alex Smith this season.

--Drew Brees going to get Kenny Stills PAID.

--Matt Barkley doing his best USC-QB-in-the-NFL impression, and doing it well.

--I told y'all about Cincy. Said once Andy Dalton made that turn, this team is scary. Well... it's happening.

--RGIII almost died out there. He's gotta have a few fractured ribs... maybe a bruised soul...

--Does anyone care about tonight's game?

didn't get to watch much football yesterday besides the pats because of my idiot friend that chose a wedding date during the season, but:

- AFC East results yesterday...A+ all around. well done, fellas :pimp:
- NE's defense is carrying them right now and playing great football...injuries and all
- i thought i misread a headline on CJ81's day...filthy

What kind of man plans a wedding during football season?

Get some new friends.

i mean it sounds ridiculous...but october is in the heart of football season, hockey season, and playoff baseball. if some girl is dumb enough to marry me, it'll be in july/august.

"You gotta have passion, you can't have a mediocre attitude"

It's funny how Dez is saying the same stuff T.O. said years ago.

The Packers looking like a complete team right now. They're gonna be scary if Eddie Lacey keeps running like this.

-Another pathetic performance from the Eagles Offense. It's funny, defense finally comes around and the O goes completely ghost.:smh: Chip needs to get his head out of his #$% , and prove that he deserves to be a NFL coach.
-Lions' comeback was amazing. CJ going completely ape#$*#, the week Dez says he can do anything he can do :smokin
-Not ready for all of the commotion over Dez's sideline actions

Didn't catch any of the other games, this week.

-Oh yeah, Sean Lee is having a ridiculous season so far.

Serious question: If that was Witten, and not Dez spazzing on the sidelines, are we still critical?
