Teen Looking For Help Following Car Accident Shot Dead After Ringing Doorbell vol. Renisha McBride

I'm intrigued to see how this plays out.  I've honestly never had faith in the system, or this country.  The principles that  this country were built on were created in a period where my race wasn't even considered fully human.  They were enslaved, and treated like filth.  With that said, in todays day & age it's expected for blacks to "move on" and forget all the horrors that the white race committed.  I do not know the race of the shooter in this situation.  However I assume, just based on the the fact that this person is free, that the shooter isn't black.  Take a moment to realize the entire situation.  Since this is NT i'll give you cliffs.

-Woman knocks on door asking for help at 2am

- Man opens door with gun

-At some point in time the woman, who's unarmed and not showing any signs of violent or disrupted behavior is  shot in the BACK of her head.

- Man isn't in jail

What??!?!?!?

Black people will always get the short end of the stick in this country.   Something truly needs to be done.

It disturbs me that so many people in this country ignore the cold hard facts surrounding gun ownership and crime rates.
I'm cool on this^^^^^.  I live 10 min. away from Kennesaw.  A dude from Missouri describe Kennesaw as an Oasis

.  The place is straight Bammaville with a bunch of new developments.  These statistics are straight propaganda.

The guns arent the problem. Statistically crime rates get considerably lower in citys/states/countrys with more guns. The largest problem areas on both a national and global level are places with gun bans.

More guns = Less crime
Really?  Because NYC crime rates plummet after their gun ban.  More guns just means more dead bodies.  My big homie always said a scary mf will kill you quicker then the hardest fool in the nation.  Look at FLA they have some of the most lenient gun laws in the nation, and there bagging bodies like its a scene out of Contagion.  For no reason just a bunch trigger happy cowards itching to see what a bullet does to human flesh.
Look at gun laws, more guns do equal less crime. We need more gun education.
Saying it doesn't make it true.

I've done many speeches on it, and had many debates on it. Look at any study on the topic. Strict gun law have lead most genocides, leads to more criminals to prey on people who they know are unarmed etc. it's our right to bare arms.

Switzerland is one of the safest places on the planet and almost every home consist of automatic weapons. Google the facts. It's all there.

It's not so much the guns as it is the mentality in America. I don't need a gun because I'll most likely never get robbed in my life.

A teenager who is stranded, possibly injured, and doesn't have a working cell phone.

She was in a car accident bruh. Was she supposed call it a night and wait until dawn to get help?

She wasnt a teenager, she was 19... Its Detroit you dont go knocking on somebody house at 3:30. Your asking for it. Everybody in Detroit know that

Why open the door and shoot someone if you feel threatened? You couldn't yell through the door and ask what do you need, or possible ignore the pleas?

I had a dude knock on my door at 6am on a Saturday morning a few months ago. Apparently he was having a domestic dispute and she put him out in boxers. Dude was going door to door knocking I guess to try to use someones phone. All he found was a squad car to meet him.

And you along with all your neighbors had enough sense to ignore, and call authorities. People just want to shoot and ask questions last.

So girl knocks on the door, and the thought is she's trying to break in? :smh: how about you wait until someone actually breaks into your house before using deadly force. Did she even get a chance to explain herself? Ruthless.

while gun control is an issue, it is secondary to the race-based fear and perception that caused the homeowner to act.

there's nothing wrong with wielding a gun in your home, but there's something terribly unsettling about murdering harmless people in need solely based on their color.

i don't want to see the term "race card" in any discussion of prejudicial violence that only finds one race as its victim. until this skepticism is carried out across the board towards all people and races, call it like it is.

if he was truly scared, he should've not answered, waited by his door and shot the first person that entered his home. that's within your right to self-defense. but there's no excuse for what was done here, or in the other incident that recently happened.

as sad as all of this is, this is the environment that america has long created. one in which a mere sighting of a black person leads to suspicion and concern, and in the right circumstances, fear so deep that prejudice overrides the value of an innocent life.

regardless of how many terms obama serves (shout out to him btw), as long as the general perception of us remains this way, things will never change. 8 years of power can't erase 400+ of the opposite.
