Wait...wait...wait I thought Ali and Murphy Lee wrote all of Nelly's raps? I thought before they hit it big Ali was the front man and Nelly was a side dude in the St. Lunatics. The label wanted Nelly as the front man because he had "the look" so the Lunatics fell back because they were promised a deal as a group after Nelly dropped a solo project? :nerd:

I coulda sworn I saw this on behind the music or some ish. Can anybody confirm?

I understand that, but he doesn't have a body of work to examine. He's what's hot, and that's cool but you're putting him up there with guys that have put out quality albums.

I remember people going crazy about Drake when he first came out with So Far So Gone mixtape, talking bout he was in Top 5, and he didn't have an album out at the time either...

Future, Migos, Fetty, Juicy, etc are all interchangeable.

Some rapper are known for them kind of bars tho..lil Wayne and ludacris..comes to mind..but I wouldn't put nelly in that category..

But let some of my friends tell it..Wayne is the worst rapper ever..any time I used to bring Wayne name up..first thing one would say..is that leggo my eggs line Wayne spit once..I forgot it of the top of my head..he hated Wayne for those kinds of bars..lol

SFG was essentially an album that Drake put out for free, then eventually charged people for.

Wayne had the industry locked down for like 4 or 5 years straight. There was no hit record or record period that didn't FT. Wayne it was Wayne. **** was ridiculous. Call it mediocre or wack, but again just like PAC you hating.
