That's why you add depth through free agency or the draft....Same with the offensive line...I don't think you understand how this all works.

and I wasn't referring to you about the cover 4 analysis.

It was some other idiot. But your football logic is very similar.
So you're saying a team with holes can plug them all through free agency and the draft.... That's pretty genius. Why don't all the struggling franchises do that?

The only point I was making, and it was good, is that vertical threat WR shouldn't be a priority. And that it is just dumb as hell to think all your woes came from the super stud tackle. Okay, yeah it is time to stop posting. At work on a Sunday, it brings the posts out.

Grab another cup of coffee or whatever it is you need. Nobody said all the problems stem from Davis being out. It's just not surprising the run game was much more effective when he came back. What's so hard to understand about that?

The concept of improving your team through free agency and the draft is foreign to this guy.

Wtf.

I didn't think it could get worse than what i've seen in the NFL thread.

The concept of sarcasm and reading the next sentence is foreign to this guy. Edit your posts again. But if no one's reading past the first sentence and just having slanted responses, then I'm good here.

Ive been thinking, Baalke should load up the defense and oline. Maybe get a tyler lockett or smith vertical threat wr in the mid rounds. Crazy to think smith has been mocked to us in the first. A couple weeks ago i seen he might go in the later rounds or undrafted.

Something like
1.defense
2. Oline
3.wr

You aint got the answers.
Honestly, no one has the answers for the 49ers. I'm not sure if that FA list was supposed to be optimistic but roster overhaul + new system + QB people are ready to crucify... y'all could be in full rebuild mode in a year. I'm just a Kaep apologist who thinks this franchise will go back to shambles if they don't put him in a good position to win. This entire time I've been civil though, and hostile responses that are out of touch w/ reality was all I got. Football gurus and blind homers here only.

I've never put anyone on ignore, but this dude will be the first. His posts make my head hurt because he provides zero insight and throws out arbitrary points of dicussion.

@BenTrill  Yeah, I would prefer we don't grab him in the first as well. I still think teams might undervalue the NT position and let Danny Shelton slip right to us.

Not really a fan of any of the top rated CBs. Ifo is great value if you can get him in the mid rounds.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS  | #15

DORIAL GREEN-BECKHAM, WR
Blame Colin Kaepernick all you would like for the 49ers' offensive struggles, but his job isn't made easier with a lack of playmakers among his receiving corps. Green-Beckham is a top 10 talent who is drawing comparisons to Cincinnati Bengals star A.J. Green for his size, speed and ballskills, but he comes with significant off-field concerns. GM Trent Baalke has been more willing than most to gamble on talented players with character red flags.

    ARIK ARMSTEAD

Armstead would benefit greatly from learning behind Justin Smith, who turns 36 in September. Armstead is still green, but has immense potential.

    KEVIN WHITE

    WEST VIRGINIA

The 49ers’ receiving corps is loaded with big-bodied pass catchers, but the lack of speed could make White the ideal fit at this point.

    MALCOM BROWN

Justin Smith might’ve played his last NFL game, and Brown is a plug-and-play prospect. He has excellent strength at the point of attack.

The 49ers are really hurting for receiving help. Michael Crabtree, a huge disappointment this past year, will probably be gone this offseason. Anquan Boldin played well, but he can't possibly play at a high level much longer. Stevie Johnson proved to be a bust. Receiver is one of the positions San Francisco will be targeting at No. 15.

Stevie Johnson proved to be a bust?

Like I said before I don't think a WR group of Boldin/Johnson/Ellington/Patton is bad

Our oline was just that trash...

But if we do go WR, give me White or DGB...I wouldn't be with a combination of the 5

Stevie wasn't a bust. He wasn't gettin the reps he deserved. I look forward to him being the #2 receiver next year.

Saw that quick vid on bleacher report a while back. Wouldnt mind Clay from the Dolphins. Nice having Carrier and him. You know, TEs that can catch. Still miss Delanie.
