At least identify the problem correctly. It’s about players first, and I think they have the right guy in place to pick the players. But unfortunately for Trent, I think the choice of Tomsula hurt him, and currently right now Chip Kelly is not helping him either. All of a sudden you say, “Look, we can’t keep (Baalke), he’s the one that picked the last two guys,” I guess is maybe what they’re saying. I’m not sure overall. Nonetheless, that’s a blemish that Trent is going to have to carry a little bit.
He drafted players he wants to fit the style of play he wants on the field, Chip had to have been Jed's call and Baalke is going to take the bullet for him :smh:

Is the only thing that can save Baalke's job Chip Kelly leaving on his own?

Once again, we're reminded how fast things unravel in the NFL. 2 seasons ago, Baalke was revered for trading a 4th for Stevie Johnson, finding Borland in the 3rd and Lynchmobb in the 5th. Los was plastering fools behind Frankie G and Dontae Johnson looked like a player with some potential. Now, Baalke is public enemy #1.

**** is crazy, bro.

His deep ball accuracy was amazing last season. This season it's been good, too, but last season it was ridiculously good. Throws a beautiful a ball. mechanics are very clean.

our draft picks:
  1. Round 1 – own pick
  2. Round 2 – own pick
  3. Round 3 – own pick
  4. Round 4 – own pick
  5. Round 5 – own pick
  6. Round 5 – Washington pick acquired in trade for TE Derek Carrier
  7. Round 6 – own pick
  8. Round 6 – pick from Denver (TE Vernon Davis trade).
  9. Round 7 – Cleveland’s pick acquired in 2015 trade for Andy Lee.
We've got a ton picks(again). We also get a compensation pick for alex boone(probably be a 4th) and Q(no idea what this one will be), and comp picks can be traded this year. With that said,

I really want us to move back into the first, and grab mike williams or corey davis. since we'll be at the start of the 2nd, it shouldn't cost much to move back into the 1st. If we can go QB+WR in the first 2 picks,i'll be happy as ****.

Lol, 7th round for andy lee. :smh:

I was hoping de/olb in first and qb in second like the raiders did a couple years ago with mack and carr

It all depends on if Garrett is there. The draft is soooo deep in pass rushers that we should be able to get a good one on day 2.

They gotta go qb. Ain't no way they goin into next season with those qbs and no FA.... right?! :nerd:

so many questions/variables right now to really know. what do the browns do at 1? is kap opting out? chip staying?

myles garrett or a QB(trubisky or watson) is probably the likeliest scenario as of today.

if watson lights it up in the playoffs, he's the one.

he has shown a propensity for playing big in big games. can he do it again?

I honestly think Watson is gonna get exposed and play horribly vs Bama that's if he gets past Ohio st. Which I think he can

let's pray he doesn't for our sake. this would all be so much easier if watson just balls out of control. we need someone to establish themselves as a franchise QB because that's what we desperately need.

he did pretty damn good last year in the national title game against them.

saban had to pull out the onside kick to stop watson and the clemson offense.

nobody in particular.

i see some elements of russell wilson--specifically his touch pass accuracy/ball placement and ability to escape/keep plays alive with his mobility--but russell has a cannon while watson has just a good arm, so the comp isn't an ideal fit.

Rams signed Fisher for 2 more years, wouldn't be surprised if 49ers do the same thing with Kelly [emoji]128531[/emoji]

As usual dr red has the prescription, Baalke or whoever doing his job need to make moves. Yeah the team sucks and the roster is depleted, but we have so much cap space and so many picks a good GM could turn this around REAL QUICK!

Hit on a few good draft picks and use that ******* 41 mil in cap space we got lying around to sign some difference makers and we could be back in business in short order.

Also why the **** are we taking advice from Mike Nolan [emoji]129300[/emoji] Dude was 18-37 as a 49ers HC [emoji]128169[/emoji]

"Despite having a better record than the 2–14 Texans and 3–13 Saints, statistics site Football Outsiders calculated that the 49ers were actually, play-for-play, not only the worst team in the NFL in 2005, but the worst team they've ever tracked"

So remind me, why are we taking advice from Mike Nolan [emoji]128514[/emoji] Dude was as big of a bust as any in the carousel of post dynasty 49ers coaches.

He sucked as a coach, but he wasn't bad as a personnel guy(he had full GM power from 05-08). He blew the Alex Smith pick, but he nailed Joe Staley, Frank Gore, Patrick Willis, Ray McDonald and signed Justin Smith.

I totally agree with you, tho. We can turn this around quick, and at least become a competitive 8-8 team. Whoever is leading the draft has to be aggressive and most importantly, NAIL THE QB PICK.

funny how fast things change. my raider homies were completely ******** on the guy, calling for his head after he drafted tyler wilson and traded for matt flynn.
