whoever the GM is moving forward has to find a way to get corey davis. we're going to have like 12 ******* picks. we have to land this dude. he's favorite WR prospect in awhile.

Ive seen recent mocks having him going early teens.

I was reading an article about possibly obtaining garapolo. Would you guys take garapolo over any qb coming out of college this year?

The article had the niners giving two seconds for him. If that where to happen niners can trade down from second and get maybe Corey or another player.

i would do it for jimmy G.

i don't think we're going to be able to trade down. it costs a lot to take our pick, so unless we're okay with getting fleeced(which we shouldn't be), its likely not happening. things are fluid, tho, so a team could make some moves in the off-season to acquire picks and use them to move up to our spot.

what if our new traded down and GM said **** it, we're fixing this wide receiver problem right now and drafted both mike williams and corey davis after trading for jimmy G. dude would be heralded as a hero.

I would hope the gm would get the HC from patriots (mcdaniels) then trade for garapolo and draft a bunch of wr and TEs.

Hopefully something happens other than just promoting gamble (even worse paraag) to gm and keeping chip. :nerd:

By what ive read the niners are leaning towards keeping chip. That means the niners are fu cked for another 2-3 years with that bs offensive scheme.

i really thought chip would have learned from his time in philly and evolved his offense, but the dude is either dumb or stubborn. teams like the patriots and raiders run a lot of his offense, but they mix it in with all the proven stuff.

how hard is it it to mix in some stuff from under center? throw in a fullback? bring in an extra lineman on short yardage? jesus christ, man.

watching this NYG game...

if eli can learn to finish, there's no reason why he can't become a player similar to olivier vernon. a lot of scouts comped eli to olivier coming out of college.

this is a good example of not knowing how to finish. you have to have a sense of urgency here. get over that tackles shoulders and grab the damn quarterback.

this is how you finish that sack

silly how quick people give up on players. this is essentially eli's rookie season since he only started 1 last year. he's had some terrible coaching in the league to this point. i'll wait a couple seasons before i give up on the dude. i like to give players 3 years of ~16 games before i come to any sort of conclusion.

Hope im talking nonsense but with this coaching some players are not gonna devlop or will slow their development.

you're right, especially on the defensive side. they're ******* terrible.

shed a tear watching that video of cowboy. my man channeled his inner Trump and said **** it, imma leave my feet and grab brees by his...

from that clip of the patriots game it's evident that teams are gonna have to double defo in the future. he got past the blocker off pure strength. but once he learns some moves...booooyyyyyy

defo is probably the best player on the team already.

I feel like this thread/forum could run the organization. Niketalk is unofficially the front office.
