MIND = BLOWN

Keeping it blue eyed soul & following JJ's lead, here is Daryl Hall with Chromeo also doing I Can't Go For That & Boz Scaggs' Lowdown. I liked the version with Chromeo better...

& speaking of Chromeo... Here's their new one with Toro Y Mo, Come Alive. I think you could call this blue eyed soulish...

Bobby Caldwell has got to be the most important white person in hip-hop, classic sample after classic sample, I'm glad I came in this thread

Y'all forreal? :lol:

This. :lol: People always think Bobby Caldwell is black, I can forgive that. But, folks ain't know Jay Kay was white? :rofl:

But, while the OG version of What You Won't Do For Love is greatly appreciated, the covers and samples it inspired are :pimp:

Namely:

Montell Jordan on NY Undercover
Phyllis Hyman
Raheem DeVaughn - My Soul Ain't For Sale

I remember people thought this was a New Edition song.....before they saw the video....

My dude psk, always dropping the music for the people. Avy check! Been a fan of Jamiroquai for a few years now, always in rotation. And Hiatus Kaiyote was the last group I wrote about before I went on hiatus from writing on my blog, SWIDT?

Jamiroquai is an incredible band . been a fan since "Virtual Insanity" and "Space Cowboy"

Bobby Caldwell is one of my favorite artists . apologies if it hasnt been posted yet , but "Sky is the Limit" was also sampled from his track "My Flame"

also for you Steely Dan fans -- Michael McDonald is the back up vocalist for "Peg" during the chorus
