NIKE AIR MAG 2015

"The first self lacing Nike mag"

Her and Russ both phrased it that way which is odd... I think they're talking about the original shoes from the movie

Doubt it because the original movie shoe wasn't self-lacing. They had dudes under the Delorean pulling strings (literally) to actualize the effect.

I wish they would drop the Hyper Dunks

If they're going to auction, they're probably going to auction them all. It's not about giving people a fair chance anymore, but making the most money for the Foundation.

I think it's a win-win if you do an auction and a raffle (i mean, people will still be salty, but...) - that way Nike gets the good publicity (auction) and pays respect to the normal fan who can't afford 4-10 grand.  All you really have to do is up the production numbers a little bit...

It would be bad publicity for them to pass up auction money that can go to the Foundation just to keep some sneakerheads happy.

If they bump up production numbers, that's just extra pairs that can make money for charity.

We all want a fair shot but if the goal is to raise money for charity, not everyone is gonna get it.

We finally agree on something.

Cool! :smokin :smokin :smokin :smokin :smokin :smokin :smokin

+1
Your opinion is no longer credible.

Since when are opinions credible? Sources are credible...opinions are not. So my man, please, just keep reading the thread and see what happens. Nothing is guaranteed until we all see what Nike has to show.
You swore up and down they weren't releasing, on a daily basis, now you want to tell us how they're going to release? please stop.

Tomorrow at 12PM. Keep posted on Walmart.com's footwear section.

I know this was said completely as a joke, but I would like to see something crazy like that happen.

If not online in brick & mortar stores like Walmart or Target. Does have to be a premium product. I know a few years back there was rumor of lower end Nikes set to be sold at Payless but it never happened.

how long before self lacing becomes a common thing? like general release on most kicks? if ever

probably in 1-3 years or so. they're still gonna get feedback from the customers and improve it in that timeline.

Apparently WWD, a Fashion site, tweeted this 5 hours ago then removed it. It looks like info from a press release that was supposed to be embargoed. They probably got heat for early posting and had to pull it. Not looking good.
