Gamestop is the only pre-order worth mentioning. The other retailers just either give you skin(s) or access to features that will be later unlocked, as in the Best Buy pre-order.

I believe it is inside by the manual or whatever papers come inside the games these days so once you rip that seal open, it is a point of no return.
I think some may sell their codes though, I think I remember people doing that in prior games.

The Red Hood code will be printed on receipt if you pick up in store or emailed to you within two days after release I guess if the game is shipped to your house. Just going by what Gamestop's site says.

Do what I did preorder at GameStop get the code when it releases and return it the next day unopened , code is printed on the recipet so you shouldn't have to open the case to get to it.
