I'll give you a status update if I get hit with customs. According to federal law regulations shoes have a customs duty fees of 8.5%

Did you use a european 'friend' or an intermediating service?
If its a friend , tell him to ship with the postal office of his country , registered mail shipping , and make each package smaller than 2 kilos .
There will be no problems this way.

Intermediating service (borderlinx)... would there be any issues? Under 2 kilos, do they weight that to calculate duty cost?

Have no idea how much , but you can easily google it...
1 pair of jordans is around 1.3-1.7 kilos so you should be good if they ship seperately your pairs...
If you can ask them to , do so , and also try to avoid courriers , and use national postal services.

where did they ship them from , and with which service if I may ask?
Where I ship from to the US over 2 kilos , package gets opened by customs , not sure about fees though.

Both shoes are going to be around 9lbs or less. I will request regular mail shipment...

For the people that copped using the the third party for shipping, do you mind if I ask how much it came out to? I don't want to set everything up to find out that with shipping fees and customs fees it comes out to be exactly the resell price in the US.
